Suneet Verma unveils his 2003 spring/summer collection in Mumbai.

Mumbai, Apr 5: Suneet Verma's spring summer collection this year is titled 'Wild at Heart' and splashes a riot of colours and prints. The colours used were blues, romantic pinks, whites blended with orange and red. Even his elegant black sarees, draped remarkably with silver work, caught everyone's eyes.

"It was a very spontaneous collection, very young, very close to the body, there are funny accessories like great little bags. I am not feeling really Indian in my motive or my inspiration, there's not much of orange, or great red. There is lot of lime, aqua, lilac and white. So I think it's a very fresh and young collection, a sexy collection," said Summet. The Delhi designer conjured up his creations with a distinct Verma stamp. From exquisite embroidery to innovative draping, every Verma outfit had detailing, which is the designer's forte. His collection was an electric mix of patterns and prints, the textured and the smooth - all-in-all a study in the blending of contrasts.

An exclusive gathering of eminent people from the fashion world showed the keenest interest in the designs displayed. With a spectrum of eye-catchy designs to choose from, it will be cool in summer!
