Bangalore next destination for Emirates

Bangalore: Bangalore is the undisputed medical tourism hub as far as the UAE's Emirates airlines is concerned. To harness this potential to the benefit of the Middle East crowd and also to boost tourism, the Emirates would be launching eight flights a week from Bangalore starting October 29 to Dubai. Talking to ANI in an exclusive interview in Bangalore, the Emirates senior vice president (Commercial Operations), Nabil Sultan, said they would like to harness the medical tourism potential of Bangalore. The introduction of these flights from Bangalore to Dubai and other Western destinations in Europe and USA with an attractive fare will give the Emirates the opportunity to have a fresh look at Karnataka's tourism potential, besides other destinations in India. According to Sultan, with Bangalore on the Emirates radar, passengers could have 14 to 20 new gateways in West Asia, Africa and Europe through many flights linking the east and the west daily.
