Air Deccan launches first-ever flight to Tuticorin

     Bangalore: Air Deccan today launched the first ever air connectivity between Tuticorin and Chennai. Tuticorin, which remained unconnected by air until today, now has daily flights operating in and out of the city. A 42 seater, ATR 42-500 has been deployed on this sector. Member of Parliament Dhanushkodi Athithan and Krishanswamy, Chief - Corporate Planning, Air Deccan were present at the launch function Speaking on the launch, Krishanswamy said: "We are getting closer to our vision of empowering every Indian to fly. Places such as Tuticorin are important business and tourist destinations and we look forward to connecting similar towns and cities in the future, at low costs."
