Kashmir Valley experiences fresh snowfall
Srinagar:
The Kashmir Valley shivered on Tuesday after experiencing
a fresh spell of snowfall. Places like Gulmarg also experienced
heavy snowfall. According to official sources, about three
inches of fresh snow has accumulated in Anantnag, Kulgam,
Shopian, Kupwara and Ganderbal. According to official
sources, the snow in the valley has made the tourists
happy. Locals said heavy snowfall during winters is very
essential for augmenting hydro-electric power supply and
drinking water for the summers..
