Nayagaon school children claim experience of
contact with unknown spirits
!

Narayangaon (Madhya Pradesh): Girl students of a middle school at Nayagaon in Umriya District of Madhya Pradesh claimed to have experienced the influence of some unknown spirit frequently. Students of the Shaskiya Poorva Madhyamik School and residents of the area are amazed at these incidents, since it is experienced only by the girl students. Savita Pal, one of the students said she was possessed by a sprit. "My waist started paining when I was sitting in the class room. I felt as if some body is overpowering me and then I was unconscious. Fortunately, I was okay after I was treated by a mantra recitation on me." Ashadevi Sahu, a class eight student, also said she experienced something unnatural. "I was sitting in the class and all of a sudden I started having unbearable pain in my stomach which got cured only after recitation of mantra and performing some ritual," Interestingly, when the possessed girls were offered coconuts, they would regain normalcy. The parents of the students and residents of Nayangaon criticised the Principal of Shaskiya Poorva Madhamik School, Damodar Singh, for not taking the matter seriously. Singh, however said: " In our school only girls have experienced such strange things for the past 15 to 20 days. I did not give any information to the concerned authorities since I thought that their parents would sort out the matter." The influence of the spirit could happen at any moment, be it in the morning or in the afternoon. It is said that over 15 girls of this school have been experienced influence of some spirit on them.
