clears key appointments
New
Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has
cleared the appointments of secretaries to various ministeries.
Dr US Raghavan has been appointed as the secretary in the Department
of Posts. Sarita Prasad, Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice
and Empowerment will now stand relieved of the additional charge
of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Meena
Gupta, Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests,
has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
