(Go To Top)

London: 'Bad Man' of Bollywood Gulshan Grover is all set to trouble new 007 Daniel Criag. Grover, known for essaying some of the best villainous characters in Hindi films, has been lined up to star in 'Casino Royale'. The 'Bad Man' is proud to be a part of the film , and will try his best to give it Indian touch. "Appearing in the film will be a real honour for me and my country. I'm sure that I will be able to give it an Indian flavour," the Mirror quoted Grover as saying.

Women are happier living single than men (Go To Top)

London: Single women living on their own are happier than their male counterparts, a new research has found. Researchers said this may be because women are more likely to see friends and family frequently, as compared to men. According to the study, the number of people living alone (widowed, divorced, unmarried) has doubled in the past 30 years, with the shift most significant among men. Ninety-six percent believed living alone had become a rite of passage, though the majority did not expect it to be a long-term situation. The Unilever Family Report 2005, which questioned 1,142 people aged 25 to 44, found that men generally found living alone harder than women, and were less likely to say it was their choice. While 64 percent of women thought it was good to have their own place before settling down, only 48 percent of men thought so. Fifty-six percent of males said they were sometimes lonely compared with 48 percent of females. Thirty-eight percent of women said it had a positive impact on their relationship with their family compared to 26 percent of men. "My bedroom is very, very pink. Everyone takes the mickey. But I know if I ever married or moved in with someone, there is no way I would be allowed to have a pink bedroom. I like being my own boss. I have independence and freedom to do as I want when I want," the Independent quoted explained Katie Marshall, 30-year- old marketing executive, as saying.

Sex doesn't work for Jordan after a spat (Go To Top)

London: Pop singer Peter Andre has confessed that he never kisses and makes-up with his wife after a tiff, with the help of "sex". The hunky star insists that he and Jordan have never enjoyed make-up sex, as they get too angry with each other after a fight to make amends through some loving gesture. "We never make up the way some people make up! We've got to be on great terms again before that happens! Most of the time, I'll just say sorry," The Sun quoted the singer as telling Star magazine. Peter has also admitted the couple mostly row over each other's ex-lovers. "We mostly argue about our past. Someone will pop up on TV who I've been with or she's been with, and then it starts. And it goes on and on..." he added.

Janet Jackson denies being a 'secret' mom

London: Singer Janet Jackson has finally broken her silence on the claim made by her ex-brother-in-law that she has a "secret" 18-year-old daughter, and has insisted that she is not a "mother". "I do not have a child, and all allegations saying so are false," Eonline! quoted her as saying. Young DeBarge, the brother of Jackson's ex-husband, James DeBarge, recently claimed that Jackson and his brother had a child named Renee who was raised by Jackson's eldest sister, Rebbie. "James and the Jackson family kept everything real close, real tight," Young DeBarge said on a New York radio station. Jackson and James DeBarge were briefly married from 1984 to 1985, when Jackson was just 18.

Tyra Banks' clinical demolition of her famous anatomy (Go To Top)

New York: She may be the role-model for millions of fashion wannabes in the US and world over, and has over the years fiercely clung on to the very top rung in the supermodel stakes, but for Tyra Banks herself, she has the worst possible features and body parts, that any aspiring star can dream to possess. Banks, who is the host of "America's Next Top Model" show, surprised the audience by launching a scathing attack on her looks, and frank admissions that she yearned to have the features of some of Hollywood's leading ladies. "My eyebrows are too far apart," I'd love to have longer eyelashes and a wider smile, like Julia Roberts or Cameron Diaz", the New York Post quoted the talk show host, as telling her audience. And if she had just hated her lashes and smile would still have been all right, but what followed was a clinical demolition of almost all other parts of her famous anatomy. "My mouth is small and tight. My calves are nonexistent, so I rarely wear skirts or shorts. And I have cellulite, not just on my booty, but on my arms.", she reportedly told the audience.
