575 jolts rocked Pakistan since Oct 8 devastating quake

     Islamabad: At least 575 aftershocks of different intensity have rocked different parts of Pakistan ( PoK ) after October 8's devastating earthquake. According to the experts, 102 aftershocks of quakes were felt on October 8, 122 on Oct 9, 75 on 10th, 76 on 11th, 63 on 12th, 78 on 13th and 59 aftershocks on Oct 14, an Online News agency report said. As per official sources, the total death toll due to the earthquake had reached 38,000 and the number of people rendered homeless is said to be around 3.3 million. As many as 62,000 people were injured in the devastating earthquake, and the top most priority of the federal government is to rehabilitate the survivors and provide medical aid to those injured. The epicentre was Muzaffarabad.
