Britney's bra is buzzing with business (Go

Washington:
Everything about Britney is bound to make business,
and when it comes to her bra, well, business is bound to
get a boost, even if the link connecting the cups is broken.
And that was obvious yesterday, when at one stage, bids
on eBay reached a staggering sum of 33100 dollars for her
"intricately designed" bra decorated with "white stones
and silver-tone beads", which she has put up for auction
for the purposes of charity, proceeds of which will go to
victims of Hurricane Katrina. According to Eonline! eBay
gatekeepers initially delisted the bra, judging it to be
in violation of the site's undergarment policy, which forbids
the sale of previously worn delicates ,but by late Wednesday,
it was back in business, with site officials deciding that
the bra was more entertainment collectible than used underwear.
"We went back and took a closer look at it," the report
quoted eBay spokesman Hani Durzy, as saying. "We probably
erred in pulling it in the first place." He added. The auction,
featuring more than 400 items, that was launched on Saturday,
is due to close on October 12.

'Terminator'
Arnie is hunting androids in Malibu (Go

London:
Reel images of Arnold 'Terminator' Schwarzenegger zipping
down the highway on his Harley-Davidson, saving a boy from
death at the hands of a superior android are still etched
in his fan's minds, but for the residents of Malibu, it
turned out to be a real-life experience. According to Hello
magazine, passers-by in the town couldn't help noticing
the actor-turned-politician, dressed from head-to-toe in
black leather, as he roared by on his classic Indian motorbike,
reprising the magical moments that he had enacted on screen.
But unlike in the movie, where he didn't don a helmet, he
was reportedly more cautious while doing the stint in real
life. "When we did the motorcycle stuff, there was a high
risk of injury because you can't do it with visual effects,"
the magazine quoted him, as having said at that time. "So
you have to do a lot of the motorcycle stuff yourself, which
means that you drive very close to the camera truck, with
the camera arm coming out in front of you, and sometimes
not being very well coordinated - hitting the motorcycle
and stuff like that," he had added.

London:
Pierce Brosnan may have to finally bid adieu to his
role as the suave 007 spy James Bond, if director Martin
Campbell is to be believed. Despite reports the actor will
return as 007 in new film Casino Royale, the New Zealand-born
movie maker insists the old Bond is out and he's looking
for a new super spy. Campbell, who directed Brosnan in GOLDENEYE,
has told Bond gossip website www.JamesBond007.net, the Irishman
will not be asked to star in Casino Royale. Campbell insists
four actors, Sam Worthington, Henry Cavill, Daniel Craig
and ER star Goran Visnjic, are being considered for the
role and producers will name the new 007 in "less than three
weeks". Campbell has also revealed he's looking for a Frenchman
to play lead villain, LE CHIFFRE. Bollywood's badman Gulshan
Grover confirmed earlier this week that he has signed up
to play another Bond baddie in Casino Royal.

Americans
can now have breakfast with Queen (Go

London:
Millions of Americans got a taste of British royalty,
as Good Morning America broadcast its show live from inside
Windsor Castle in a bid to boost the UK's tourism industry.
Two of the breakfast show's stars, Charlie Gibson and Claire
Shipman, hosted the programme from the largest occupied
castle in the world. The Queen who gave her permission for
the use of her official residence, which has been a royal
home and fortress for more than 900 years, stayed out of
the limelight and remained at Balmoral in Scotland. It is
the first time such a television venture has taken place
at the Queen's royal residences, reports the Daily Mail.
Rather than sitting behind a desk, the presenters were followed
by cameras as they walked through the Berkshire Castle.
"We're all very excited to be here. From a professional
point of view, I don't think it's been done before," Grahame
Hadden, ABC's chief overseas engineer, said. It is hoped
the event will encourage more Americans to travel to the
UK on holiday.
