want to wear anything tight, so I thought: 'Oh, this dress
is fine. It'll be a bit more conservative'. But when the
wind blew part of the top up, the underneath was completely
see-through. It was so embarrassing," the Sun quoted Alba
as saying to Jane magazine. The 'Sin City' star, who is
averse to oscreen nude scenes, even felt bad when she saw
her pictures in the see-through outfit all over the internet.
"And then of course it ended up on the internet. It was
so traumatic, because I'm not a girl who likes to do that.
I really haven't shown anything. That's not my style," she

Di's
death in conspiracy theory course (Go

London:
Students of Derby University are likely to study the
mystery surrouning the death of Diana, Princess of Wales,
as a part of their newly introduced module in Sociology
degrees, which consists of conspiracy theories. The course
is to offer a module in "apocalyptic and paranoid cultures",
and will also cover theories about the September 11 terrorist
attacks in the USA and Dan Brown's novel The Da Vinci Code.
Andrew Wilson, senior lecturer in sociology and popular
culture at Derby, has claimed that a loss of faith in traditional
religion and a growing distrust for politicians, have led
to a profusion of conspiracy theories. "We need to encourage
individuals to think freely and critically in a complex
and often contradictory society. A mistrust of politicians
has led to an atmosphere in which the official 9/11 report
is doubted," the Telgraph quoted him as saying. "Our work
in this area of the sociology degree will encourage students
to explore official and less widely believed versions of
history in order to discover what they can tell us about
the society and cultures in which we live," he added. He
further added that public society has become 'paranoid and
crippled' in its thoughts and the world needs to get liberated
from them. "We are surrounded by fear - from terrorism,
surveillance, oil shortages and the dangers of GM food.
We live in an atmosphere of doubt because our traditional
belief systems have been shattered," the paper quoted the
lecturer as saying.
Denying
Vin Diesel a date can be deadly (Go

New
York: Seems that not everything Hollywood hardman, Vin
Diesel wants, is what he gets, especially when it comes
to women being floored by his masculine charms, with him
currently in the dock for allegedly having a Dominican girl
evicted from a club, after she rejected his amorous advances.
According to the New York Post, the incident occurred when
a 23- year-old architecture student, Marianny Pimentel Orde,
refused to go back to his hotel with him, after he asked
her to, at the exclusive Santo Domingo club Praia. Diesel
apparently was taken aback by her blunt snub, refusing to
accept that any girl could turn him down. "You think this
is a game?" "I could be with thousands of girls if I wanted
to, but I want to be with you," the paper quoted Orde ,as
revealing to local Dominican newspaper El Nacional, what
an incensed Diesel told her. "They kicked me out of Praia
because I didn't want to go anywhere with him," she added.
According to the report, Diesel's rep had no official comments
to offer over the incident.
