Shiv Sena legislators resign
Mumbai:
Three legislators of the Shiv Sena party submitted their
resignation today to Speaker of the Maharashtra State Assembly,
Balasaheb Kupekar. Subhash Bane,Ganpat Kadam and Shankar Kambli
resigned and are said to be supporters of Congress leader and
former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane. The three legislators
are likely to join the Congress. With their resignations, the
strength of the Shiv Sena has come down to 59 in the Maharashtra
Assembly . Six other Rane supporters are also likely to resign.
