Shrek 3 script revealed  (Go To Top)

     London: The plot of the third Shrek movie has been given away by the animation head of moviemaker's Dreamworks. At a press conference Dreamworks head Jeffrey Katzenberg revealed the plot of Shrek 3, which revolves around Shrek's search for the real heir of Far, Far Away land. "Shrek, Donkey and Puss go to the far side of the Kingdom of Far, Far Away where young 'Artie', who is the nephew of Queen Lilian, is about to graduate school," Jeffery revealed. "Artie turns out to be young King Arthur and Shrek and Donkey and Puss have to convince this extremely rebellious young man," he added. Dreamworks also revealed that hip hop star Justin Timberlake was going to lend his voice to the character of King Arthur. The movie is slated for release in 2007.

'Polar Express' returns in IMAX format  (Go To Top)

     Washington: Robert Zemeckis' directed animated film 'The Polar Express', which earned three Oscars last year, is all set to return to IMAX theatres this holiday season. "The outstanding success of 'The Polar Express: An IMAX 3D Experience' convinced us that this film can be a holiday perennial, similar to 'It's a Wonderful Life,' that will draw audiences year after year," Zap2It quoted IMAX Co-Chairman Richard L. Gelfond as saying. "Commercial exhibitors took note of the movie's performance to date in IMAX theatres, leading to increased signings momentum, and many of our customers have expressed a desire to bring the film back for another run," he was quoted as saying. The movie bosses also said that the re-mastered IMAX version has grossed 45 million dollars worldwide, breaking all records for Hollywood films in this format.

     London: Supermodel Heidi Klum has been voted the Hottest Mum In Showbusiness, in a new internet poll by Screensavers.com. According to the Sun, the gorgeous German star beat Angelina Jolie and Pamela Anderson in the poll. The website asked cyber junkies to vote for their sexiest celebrity mother as part of a week-long US Mother's Day celebration, and Heidi, who became a mother for the first time last year, was the clear winner.

     London: Super model Kate Moss reportedly enjoyed a detox diet regimen while on a luxury holiday in Thailand. Kate was at the exclusive Chiva-Som spa retreat in Thailand with best pal Sadie Frost and a gang of friends including Sadie's lover Jackson Scott. Party animals Kate and Sadie checked in to the spa for a much- needed detox. After a week of pampering including massages, yoga and a diet of exotic fruit and vegetables, water and herbal teas, even the superslim Kate had apparently shed four pounds. "Kate always looks fabulous, but she has a real glow now. All the healthy eating and pampering has done her the world of good," a source was quoted by TheNewsoftheworld, as saying. "She's even been working out on the cross-trainer in the gym and looks in great shape," he added.

     London: Paris Hilton's sex tape is in the news again, but this time for a different reason. A TV commercial showing the hotel heiress biting into a burger and repeating her famous sex tape phrase, 'That's hot', has been deemed too sexually explicit to broadcast. According to sources, Paris' performance in the advert for eatery Carl's Jr., has made it too explicit to air. "Paris is wearing skimpy swimwear while washing a car, with hoses spurting all around her. It's very suggestive," femalefirst quoted an insider at a television company as saying.

Drink Pomegranate juice to spruce up your love life (Go To Top)

     London: A new study conducted by reasearchers at the University of Boston suggests that pomegranate juice might be good for your love life. According to The Sun, the juice was tested on male rabbits and it was found that it boosted blood flow to the penis, helping them rise to the occasion. It also fights cancer-causing molecules and beats heart disease. Th juice increased levels of antioxidants in their blood-making them less likely to suffer problems in the future.

Star Wars brings tears to Steven Spielberg's eyes (Go To Top)

     London: Steven Spielberg might be a great director but he is not averse to praising others of his ilk. According to The Sun, Spielberg was so very moved George Lucas' final Star Wars movie, Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith that he burst into tears at the end. "I saw it about a week ago and it's absolutely amazing. It's the best of the last three episodes. It's the best way you could possibly imagine for George to finish it off. It has a tremendous ending and it's very dark," he was quoted as saying.

Peter Jackson is Hollywood's most powerful (Go To Top)

     London: A list of Hollywood's power people compiled by Premiere magazine has revealed that Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson is the most powerful. According to the Sun, director Steven Spielberg came second while Steve Jobs and John Lasseter, heads of Pixar jointly came third. Stars Wars creator George Lucas was 11th, while Tom Cruise was the highest placed actor at No14.

Britney's pregnancy test up for grabs (Go To Top)

     Washington: Pop star Britney Spears' positive pregnancy test is up for garbs on an internet casino website. According to Contactmusic.com, the website claims that the test was found in the bathroom bin of a Los Angeles hotel where Britney recently stayed. Goldenpalace.com bosses said that they auctioned the stick she urinated on to confirm her pregnancy suspicions, and that proceeds from the kit will be donated to US charities which help disabled children.
