Beatles' Sergeant Pepper jacket to be auctioned for charity

    London: One of The Beatles' legendary Sergeant Pepper jackets is being auctioned in a star-studded celebrity auction to raise funds for the tsunami victims. About 100 items have been donated to the charity auction organised by fashion website clothesagency.com, including a Baltazar belt emblazoned with the words 'Boy Toy' from Madonna, a Boss suit from Sir Cliff Richards and the satin Sergeant Pepper jacket from Beatles producer Sir George Martin, reports Femalefirst. Bryan Adams has also given the event's organisers a signed pair of Calvin Klein jeans. The auction, which began on February 11 (05), will be on until March 13 (05).

     London: Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt recently posed for artist Robert Wilson's "living video portraits" wearing nothing except shorts and socks. The TROY star, is one of several celebrities, including Winona Ryder Isabella Rossellini and Mikhail Baryshnikov, who recently posed for the artist, according to a US weekly. Pitt's portrait shows him in shorts and socks on a New York City street in the pouring rain, holding a toy pistol, reports Femalefirst.

    London: Melanie B known popularly as the ex Scary Spice of the pop group Spice Girls was reportedly involved a fight outside the loo at a party. According to the Mirror, the row broke out as Mel queued for the bathroom. "Mel was waiting to use the loo for ages and in the end grew impatient and began hammering on the door. But it all backfired. The girl in the toilet told Mel to get stuffed," a source was quoted as saying. "They were really eyeballing each other. She was swearing in Mel's face and then gave her a shove in the chest. Mel looked absolutely terrified, she just froze and didn't know how to react," he added.

     London: A new musical of the classic film It's A Wonderful Life, is being planned for the West End. Frank Capra's 1946 movie starring James Stewart, will now be turned into a 7 million pounds musical by producer Jon Thoday, of the controversial hit show Jerry Springer - The Opera, reports ThisisLondon. He is reportedly collaborating with Steve Brown, who wrote the award-winning Spend Spend Spend. The opening date, cast and theatre for the new show is yet to be announced.

     London: Jennifer Lopez is flashing her tummy to quash all rumours of her being pregnant. She wore a super tight tummy-revealing costume as she performed on the Today Show in New York. To the rumours of her expecting a kiddie, the star says, "I think I've been pregnant about 17 times..." Today's Matt Lauer asked: "I'm looking at the belly and you don't look pregnant right now, but are there plans?" "I'm trying to keep that part of my life very personal", Ananova quoted J. Lo as saying. Rumours flew last month after the star cancelled a trip to London to promote her new film, Shall We Dance with Richard Gere, saying her doctor had advised her not to fly though the cause turned out to be an ear infection.

     London: Victoria and David Beckham might have recently had a third baby, but it seems that they are planning to have a fourth. "I've had two sons but I'd like a little girl. I'd like to have four or five children and be a big family," Femalefirst quoted David Beckham as saying. "They want a very large family and there have been jokes that, when Cruz is 18 months old, David and Victoria will be broody again!," Victoria's mum Jackie Adams was quoted as saying.

     London: Britney Spears might not be invited to Christina Aguilera's wedding for Aguilera has snubbed Spears by leaving her off the guest list. According to Female first, Aguilera announced her engagement to fianci Jordan Bratman last month. She had considered inviting Spears her to the nuptials, but decided against it later.

A recent poll revealed that 58 percent of single women would give up sex for a year just for a Valentine's Day date with him. In fact women across the world find it impossible to imagine anyone calling off a relationship with a man like Pitt even without probing into the exact cause of Jennifer Aniston's separation from him. On the fairer front, it's Angelina Jolie flaunting the crown. Can Pitt be blamed if the irresistably exotic Angelina Jolie is the other woman in the much-talked -about Pitt-Aniston break-up? The list of top ten sexiest men includes names like Johnny Depp(2), Jude Law(3), Matthew McConaughey(4) and Colin Farrell(5).
