James Bond becomes black man from Harlem (Go To Top)

     New York: You may finally get to see a Black James Bond if rock star Sean'P Diddy' Combs has his way. James Bond would be turned into a black man from Harlem, NewYork, with a new name, and will also be a fan of martinis like his British counterpart. Over the past few months opinions have been widespread as to who will replace Pierce Brosnan. Combs recently confessed his plans to cast the first black James Bond and make his dream come true. "My name's gonna be Robert Ground. It's serious, I'm about to announce the deal next week. I was saying it before but this is serious. You're finally gonna see a Black Bond. He's gonna be from Harlem. It's America, baby, it's our turn. "He's gonna be cool. He's a younger version of Bond. It should be out in the next 20 months." ratethemusic.com quoted Combs as saying.

Travolta, Thurman reignite their chemistry (Go To Top)

     London: John Travolta and Uma Thurman are all set to reunite for Be Cool, the sequel to Get Shorty which originally starred Travolta. According to Ananova, their new characters are supposedly model citizens compared to their Pulp Fiction predecessors, who took copious amounts of drugs. "I wouldn't even have thought of sitting with John when we met - I was kind of a gnarly little 23-year-old - that we had such screen chemistry," Thurman was quoted saying of their work on Pulp Fiction.

Has Janet Jackson married Jermaine Dupri? (Go To Top)

     New York: Singer Janet Jackson, the youngest sister of the pop icon Michael Jackson, is reported to have wed her longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. If `Rush Hour' director Brett Ratner is to be believed, Jermaine has been referred to as a "married man" in the former's new video-cum-documentary on Mariah Carey titled "It's Like That". Ratner, according to ratethemusic.com, even allowed MTV cameras to capture Dupri as a party guest in the new video. "We (Jermaine and Ratner) go way back. I used to hang out in this place called Magic City in Atlanta. I used to bump into him all the time. But now that he's a married man, he don't go there anymore," Ratner was quoted as saying.

Hilton uses Formula-I skills to outwit paparazzi (Go To Top)

     London: Paris Hilton, it seems, knows a thing or two about outwitting the paparazzi. Using her newly-acquired motor racing skills, the 'Simple Life' star who drives a 200,000 pound Ferrari, outsmarted the long-lens photographers. "I've driven on the streets at 140 miles an hour when no one's around. "I've never had an accident," Femalefirst quoted 24-year- old Paris as saying.

Jen sings her heart out for Ben (Go To Top)

     London: Jennifer Lopez has reportedly penned a song about her break-up with Ben Affleck in her new album Rebirth. The track, 'Can't Believe This Is Me' plays like, "I'm tired of running away from my fear and the day, That our life has no meaning, without a word or a reason." It goes on: "Like a coward, you're leaving, Sitting here inside an empty room that was filled with us, Only boxes to define what was left of what we used to call love." "It's sad that after all of this time, you have nothing to say, Ooh, and the only thing that you could've done, you choose to walk away.'' Although Lopez herself has not opened up about the track, Ananova quoted a friend as saying, "It is the story of their break-up. It's definitely about Ben." The pair, nicknamed Bennifer by the media, reportedly called off their wedding in Santa Barbara, California, in September 2003 three days before the set date. They blamed media attention for the annulment. However, friends of Affleck said he got cold feet. The couple struck back together briefly shortly afterwards, but separated again. Lopez married Marc Anthony last June.

Pitt, Blanchett pair up again for 'Babel' (Go To Top)

     Washington: Oscar winners Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett are in negotiations to star for the second time together in the movie "Babel", a drama directed by Alejandro Gonzalex Inarritu of "21 Grams" fame. The Paramount Pictures project focuses on a married couple on vacation, who experience a tragedy, which then combines into four interwoven stories set in Morocco, Tunisia, Mexico and Japan, reports Zap2it. Pitt,41, last starred in "Ocean's Twelve" and his next release "Mr. And Mrs. Smith is due in June. Blanchett,35 recently won the supporting actress for "The Aviator". She recently finished shooting for "Little Fish", a drug drama set in Australia.

Pamela Anderson gets shy of stripping (Go To Top)

     London: These days Baywatch star Pamela Anderson is just too embarrased to strip. She is rarely photographed nude now because she's ashamed to let her family see the finished pictures "I love doing what I do, but I don't like seeing the finished product," Femalefirst quoted Pamela as saying. The blonde babe, who has 12 raunchy appearances of herself in "Playboy", confessed that she never expected to be a sex symbol.

     London: Jude Law and Sienna Miller have topped the list of the world's best-dressed people. They are joined in Vanity Fair's top 20 by celebs, Kate Moss, Jemima Khan, and 63-year-old Charlie Watts. Describing himself, The Sun quoted Jude, 32, as saying that his look was that of a "messy school-teacher". Sienna's hot favourite style icons are Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and most obviously Jude. The list also includes names like George Clooney and Oprah Winfrey. George thinks his taste is "classic yet modern".

Beckhams kids' toys cost 100,000 pounds to house (Go To Top)

     London: David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly planning to build a 100,000 pounds Wendy house for their kids in the grounds of their English countryside mansion. The two-storey home in Hertfordshire will be used to house toys for their children - five-year-old Brooklyn, two-year-old Romeo and one-month-old Cruz. "It is big enough for a family of four and will cost at least 100,000 GBP to build," femalefirst quoted a source as saying. The Real Madrid star and the former Spice Girl, however, need to get planning permission from their local council to build the house, which will be 4.8m high, 12.3m long and 3.3m wide. "Neighbours are being consulted about the proposals," the report quoted a spokesman for East Herts council as saying.

Cameron Diaz warns Timberlake over Britney (Go To Top)

     London: Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz has apparently given her current beau Justin Timberlake a tongue lashing over his repeated telephone calls to Britney Spears. A fed up Cameron has reportedly read the riot act to Justin, saying that he must stop calling her if he wants their two-year- long relationship to survive. "Justin says he's being supportive, but Cameron has told him to cool it," Ananova quoted one of Cameron's associates as telling the Daily Record.

     London: Pop diva Britney Spears is getting back into shape - thanks to the media, which published unflattering pictures of a chubby Britney that inspired her to go on a diet. The 'Toxic' star admitted that she stopped caring about her looks after marrying dancer Kevin Federline in September 2004, but media coverage of her piling on the pounds forced her to lose weight. "After I got married, I let myself go. I was just lounging around and eating. Photographs of me overweight made me realise I needed to lose weight," the Mirror quoted Britney as saying to Allure magazine.

Gisele Bundchen launches seamless superbra (Go To Top)

     London: Supermodel Gisele Bundchen has launched a new super bra for women in New York recently. According to Femalefirst, she modelled the new IPEX bra by top lingerie house Victoria's Secret in Times Square. The bra is designed to enhance the breasts by providing the wearer with a perfect shape. It is shaved and layered so unsightly seams are hidden and the shape is completely natural looking.
