Big hips can protect women from heart-attacks

Washington: The women with curves are healthier than the others who have a skinny shape, says a study in the Sun. Researchers have found those with hips measuring less than 40 inches were more exposed to heart-attacks and other illnesses. Berit Heitmann, a professor from the Institute for Preventative Medicine in Copenhagen, Denmark, said that fat and muscle on the hips has a protective effect. It contains adiponectin, which has anti-inflammatory properties, Heitmann added. Heitmann carried out a study of 50,000 men and women , then followed up years later to see what illnesses they suffered. "Fat on the hips is different than fat on the abdomen. If you do not have enough of this fat you may risk heart-attacks," informed Heitmann. It was found it is not in fat on the stomach and other parts of the body, and can prevent cardiovascular disease. Lack of muscle in the hips also appears to increase the risk of diabetes and heart-disease. This study dismisses traditional belief that overweight people have more health problems and shows it is Where the fat lies that is important.

Kathmandu: Marriages are made in heaven, but this one was solemnized at the world's highest peak - Mt. Everest. Nepalese girl Moni Mulepati (24) and her guide-cum-friend Pem Dorje Sherpa (23) climbed Mt Everest, and returned as a happily married couple. By doing so they set a world record by being the first couple to marry at the world's highest peak. The couple climbed the summit on Monday as part of the three- member Rotary Centennial Expedition 2005 marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the social service organisation. Their romance which culminated in marriage on the world's highest peak became public only on Thursday when the team returned home to Kathmandu. It is a three-in-one triumph for Moni, who is also the first non- Sherpa Nepalese girl to summit Mt Everest, the paper added.

It'll be like, 'She used her wiles to seduce him'," the Mirror quoted the producer as telling Doug. Doug reportedly also revealed that he was stunned at how steamy Tomb Raider star Angelina, 29, was prepared to make the bedroom scenes. He said, "I suggested she should perform the most graphic, crazy sex act I could imagine for the love scene just to try to shock her. Like 10 steps beyond anything I'd consider doing in my own life. "She starts furrowing her eyebrows. I'm like, 'Oh, never heard of that one?' She's like, 'No, actually I'm just trying to figure out whether I've done that one'."he added.
