Rowling fears what she'll do after Harry Potter

"Even though I have known it is coming for the past fifteen years, I have known that the series would end, I think it will still be a shock. Conversely, obviously there will be a sense of achievement. I suppose there will be some benefits to not writing Harry Potter books any more. So it is about fifty-fifty really," Contactmusic quoted her as saying. Asked about the prospects of writing another series, she said, "I get asked a lot whether I would write another series, I don't know because the thing that interests me about Harry Potter was not the fact that it was a series, it was just the story and the subject matter, so I could do a one-off, could do a series, I don't know."

BP, cholesterol combo, a sure shot killer (Go To Top)

Washington: People with high blood pressure and high cholesterol are at greater risk of heart disease and stroke, than those without these combined conditions, a new study has shown. The study conducted by Dr. Daniel T. Lackland from the Medical University of South Carolina indicate that a significant number of adults have elevated blood pressure and elevated cholesterol. These combined conditions were found to increase health risks for heart disease and stroke in all populations. The greatest disease risk was identified with the highest categories of systolic blood pressure (SBP) and total cholesterol (TC) for all race-sex groups. The greatest risks for the higher levels and the higher prevalence of elevated SBP and TC increase the disease burden. The study emphasizes the need for control of high cholesterol and hypertension to significantly reduce the incidence of stroke and cardiovascular disease. "The occurrence of these combined conditions indicates an acute need for early diagnosis and aggressive treatment," stated Dr. Lackland. "While other studies have shown similar findings, this study is the largest of its kind and covers a longer follow-up period to provide more accurate comparisons between males/females as well as among ethnic groups," he said.

She alleges, Law called her last week, in a bid to rekindle their relationship, but she was still agonised over the job she loved and was sacked from. "Jude really swept me off my feet. I fell for him. Now I realise he was just using me for sex. I was really shocked when he phoned me last Thursday and said he wanted to see me again. "I told him I thought it was unfair that I had ended up losing my job over it. He said Sadie was in charge of childcare arrangements... "He was begging to see me again. He said he desperately needed to show me that our relationship wasn't just about sex. But how could I trust him again after he cast me aside so easily before," the paper quoted her as saying.
