     London: Hollywood diva Julia Roberts enjoyed her pregnancy so much that she is reportedly planning a new film about impending motherhood. The 'Pretty Woman', who gave birth to twins Phinnaeus Walter and Hazel Patricia last November, is trying to obtain film rights to best-selling British author Tony Parsons' latest novel 'The Family Way'. "Things are at an advanced stage. No contracts have been signed as yet, but we are currently in talks with Revolution Studios, with whom Julia has a deal," Ananova quoted Parsons' spokesperson as saying.

Experts warn parents to take away mobiles from kids (Go To Top)

     London: It might come in handy when you want to be in touch with your kids, but the experts have yet again, issued warnings for handing over mobile phones to children because of the potential health risks. The latest study conducted by Sir William Stewart of the National Radiological Protection Boardsays that there is still no proof mobile phones are unsafe, but warns precautionary steps should be taken and reccomends that children under eight should not use mobile phones at all. The report not only warns about danger to children's health due to mobile use but also calls for a review of the planning process for base stations. "If there are risks - and we think that maybe there are - then the people who are going to be most affected are children, and the younger the children, the greater the danger.Parents have a responsibility to their children not simply to throw a mobile phone to a young child, and say 'off you go'," Stewart was quoted by the BBC, as saying.

    London: Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's break up might be doing the rounds of Hollywood gossip these days, but the duo are not hostile towards each other. According to Female first, Brad Pitt has told his family he is still good friends with Jennifer Aniston. He added that they are close to each other and will always remain so. "He emphasised that they were in a good place. They still really care about each other," an insider was quoted as saying. The couple had announced that hey were separating, after "much thoughtful consideration", but insisted they remained "caring and committed friends".

Courtney Love gets custody of her daughter (Go To Top)

     Washington: Singer Courtney Love finally has a reason to smile after she has been granted the custody of her 11- year old daughter who had been taken away form her after she had been charged with several counts of drug possession and assault. According to rate the music, she had her daughter with the late 'Nirvana' frontman Kurt Cobain, and after she got into trouble with the law, the courts had given the custody of her daughter to her mother-in-law. But now a judge in Los Angeles has decided her daughter is better off with her mother and granted her custody in court.

Matthew McConaughey teaches Penelope Cruz drumming (Go To Top)

     London: Hollywood actor, Matthew McConaughey is teaching his girlfriend Penelope Cruz how to play the drums, which he thinks would be nice way for her to relax. The 'Wedding Planner' actor, who was once arrested for drumming too loudly, is reportedly crazy about playing the drums and insiders have revealed that Cruz is also catching on very fast, reports Female First. "Matthew is a bongo freak. He thinks playing them is a great stress therapy," the report quoted an insider as saying. "That's why he's teaching Pene. She's actually pretty good and even went off to film in Mexico with a drum in her luggage," the source added.

Researchers discover Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa workshop (Go To Top)

     London: A team of restores believe that they have discovered where the Italian painter Leonardo da Vinci, made his famous painting Mona Lisa. The researchers have found that what was once his workshop is now a part of a military college. The studio and lodgings, filling five rooms on two floors and still showing traces of wall paintings was taken over by Italy's Military Geographical Institute. The rooms were found behind a hidden door leading into the complex where Leonardo is believed to have stayed till 1500, reports the Telegraph. According to the experts the time that Leonardo stayed in the lodgings, coincides with the time that he painted the Mona Lisa. They also believe that he shared the lodgings with some of his pupils and some of his pupils stayed there even after he moved out. The area in question, was part of the complex traditionally set aside by the friars of the Servi di Maria who ran it as lodgings for lay pilgrims and guests. "The finds are particularly interesting as they will help us to understand the context in which Leonardo worked," the researchers wrote in their study.

Hugh Jackman lands multi movie deal with Disney (Go To Top)

     Sydney: Hugh Jackman has reportedly landed a lucrative film deal with Walt Disney studios that might give his acting career a whole new dimension. According to the Australian Associated Press, the multi-movie deal will create musical films for Jackman to star in and he will also take a producing role in the projects, which could include remakes of some Hollywood musical classics. "As an art form, the musical is Mount Everest," Jackman was quoted by Hollywood trade magazine Variety, as saying. "Tough to pull off, but exhilarating and timeless when it works. And when it is done badly, it stinks to high heaven," he added.

    London: :Peter Andre and Jordan have been voted the best couple in a survey carried out by the website mykindaplace.com. In the same survey where more than 20,000 people voted for differentcategories, Beyonce was named , while boyband singer Danny McFly was voted the Man of the moment. The biggest losers list of 2004 was topped by Rebecca Loos, while Jude Law's new fiancee Sienna Miller was voted the most stylish female.

Jamelia, Natasha Bedingfield run close for Brit awards (Go To Top)

     London: Natasha Bedingfield and Jamelia are close contenders at the Brit music awards to be held nest month, with three nominations each. According to the Daily Mail, both are in the running for the best female artist award, along with PJ Harvey, Joss Stone and Amy Winehouse. Jamelia's song Thank You,is up for the best single award and she has also been nominated as best urban act. Bedingfield is nominated for best breakthrough act and best pop act. "This is a dream come true for me," she was quoted as saying.
