"There have been some interesting new developments. New forensic techniques have helped us uncover a lot of significant information which is assisting the inquiry. The French have been very helpful and understanding but they accept that there has been a lot of development in technology since they carried out their investigation," the Scotsman quoted a source from Scotland Yard as saying. The team led by Lord Stevens, the former Scotland Yard commissioner, interviewed MI6 officers, Diana's former protection team, her butler Paul Burrell and Fayed's security team in the connection, and is expected to quiz Prince Charles next. The French police, however, had reported conspiracy behind Diana's death, by saying that the car had been tampered with.
