Brando's island is Jackson's sanctuary for life (Go To Top)

     New York: Michael Jackson can relax in peace on an island to him by his friend Marlon Brando whenever he wants to. According to New York Daily News, Brando granted Jackson sanctuary on one of the Pacific islands owned by him on June 5, 2003 "for the rest of (Jackson's) natural life." Brando transferred use of a half-acre on the islet of Onetahi, in the French Polynesian atoll of Tetiaroa, "in consideration of gratitude and affection." Jackson had hosted a birthday party for Brando's daughter.

It's 'Bottoms Up' for Paris Hilton (Go To Top)

    Washington: Paris Hilton is all set to star in a the indie comedy 'Bottoms Up'. According to Zap2it, she plays Jason Mewes' love interest who is a midwestern bartender who heads to Hollywood to seek success and love. It will be produced by Paul Walker under his Blue Collar Films banner along with Cameo FJ Entertainment. Actor Erik MacArthur will direct the film.

Madonna's 'kiss of death' scares hubby away (Go To Top)

     London: Madonna might have shot for a cameo role as a female crime boss in her husband's latest movie, but he cut out her scene. According to Femalefirst, she flew to England's Isle of Man to film her appearance for guy Ritchie's gangster movie Revolver. "Perhaps Guy did not want Madonna's kiss of death on his latest movie, or perhaps he just decided the scene wasn't quite right, but either way Madonna does not make the final cut. She did fly to the Isle of Man and spent a lot of time on the set," an insider was quoted as saying.

Woody Allen's had the same breakfast for over 50 years (Go To Top)

     London: Variety might be the spice of life for some, but not for Woody Allen who eats the same breakfast every morning as he suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder. "For breakfast I have freshly squeezed orange juice, followed by a bowl of Cheerios with skimmed milk and raisins. And I always have a sliced banana on top. This is going to sound silly, given that I am a complete rationalist with no religious belief whatsoever. But I always cut my morning banana into seven slices. It's my only superstition," femalefirst quoted him as saying.

Robbie Williams wins Best Male Rocker award for the fourth time (Go To Top)

     London: Robbie Williams has bagged the best male rock and pop artist award at Germany's Echo awards beating artists like Phil Collins, George Michael, Seal and Usher. Anastacia won best international female pop and rock artist award leaving behind Nelly Furtado, Norah Jones, Avril Lavigne and Katie Melua. According to the BBC, Williams, who has won the award three times earlier in the past, did not attend this year's ceremony which was rocked by performances of Anastacia and Mariah Carey. Other winners include Eminem, who won the award for best international hip hop artist , Katie Melua who got the international newcomer of the year award and the Romanian rock band O-Zone who won single of the year title for their hit Dragostea Din Tei (Love in the Linden Tree).

     London: Cameron Diaz is reportedly losing sleep over her sagging butt and is said to have become a fitness freak to regain her lost shape. The 32-year-old actress, who stuffed herself with extra cheese in order to turn curvier whilst growing up, has now become flustered over the shape of her butt in the past two years. "There are parts of my 32-year-old body that need a little more tending than they did even two years ago. Looking in the mirror I can see my ass sag to the back of my knees. All my life I wanted to be a fleshy, voluptuous woman - the kind that bursts out of her clothing. But no matter how many bean burritos with extra cheese I ate, even as a child I knew it was not my destiny", Femalefirst quoted her as saying.

     New York: Julia Roberts will soon be back for her first public performance after giving birth to her twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel. According to New York Daily News, she will perform at the April 21 benefit for Paul Newman's Association of Hole in the Wall Camps. The Ultimate Variety Show at Avery Fisher Hall will be followed by dinner and an auction. Others to help Newman include Paul McCartney, Tony Bennett, Mary J. Blige, Robin Williams, James Naughton, the Emerson String Quartet and the AntiGravity acrobats.

Britney turns to Kabbalah to save her marriage (Go To Top)

     London: Britney Spears, who married second husband Kevin Federline last September, is reportedly taking the help of a Kabbalah rabbi(spiritual advisor), to give the couple counselling after they separated beds last week. Britney - who is rumoured to be pregnant - is also said to be seeking advice from mum Lynne in order to save her marriage, according to Britain's News of the World newspaper. "On paper, Britney and Kevin are over. They spend most of their days apart. And for a couple who have only been married seven months, it's very odd behaviour for them to be sleeping in separate beds" , Femalefirst quoted a source as saying. It was reported last week that Kevin had spent the evening with a 'VIP escort' at a Las Vegas nightclub, leading to a storm between the couple. Britney was also pictured without her wedding ring earlier this week. However, the pop star denied all reports of her marriage going on the rocks and said, "We're going to be together for ever. We know that, and that's the only thing that matters."

     London: Former 'Baywatch' babe Pamela Anderson loves getting nude because she thinks that she looks thinner without clothes. "Clothes make you look fat, I think. It's another layer. You're always thinner naked," the Sun quoted Anderson as saying to US chat show host Conan O'Brien.

     Washington: Pop singer Mariah Carey believes that a perfect kiss should be soft and communicative and wants her current partner to learn that technique. "I think the perfect kiss should initially be soft and communicative, not overbearing; it should be like an introduction. I feel like I always have to teach guys how I like to be kissed - I don't do it so they know I'm doing it; I'll just subtly coach them," Ratethemusic.com quoted her as saying.
