Fashion goes pink this Fall by Smita

Washington:
The fashion pundits in the US have announced that pink
is the colour of the fall season. October is breast cancer
awareness month and well the theme is pink (think) positive.
If Saks is pushing its `pink ribbon satchel' a pink woven
handbag, then Cover Girl, the make up giant, has announced
"the reincarnation of pink". Print advertisements have an
Indian elephant painted in different shades of pink with
pink brocade dupattas draped on it. Lounging near the elephant
is a curvy brunette with indian brocade cushions and a stole
around her. And yes, her nails are a luscious `Bombay Berry'.
Debra Messing (Will and Grace) at the Emmy's won many thums
up for her soft and shaded pink gown by the famous Michael
Kors. Heather Locklear of Dynasty and LAX fame was voted
the best dressed in her Majenta pink Oscar delarenta. But
can pink always be right? No way! Politically, blah mouth
Barbra Streisand went horribly wrong in a baby pink velvet
creation which was so not so Emmy. It looked like a drape
from her preppie home. So, if you pick pink, pick a pink
that is not passe.

London:
Pop icon Michael Jackson has reportedly revealed to
his friends that he has a 19-year-old secret child named
Omer Bhatti, who was born after a one-night stand with a

a striking resemblance to the `Dangerous' star, is a musician,
and has stayed with Jackson at his Neverland home in California.
"Jackson has told his closest associates Omer's mom's a
Norwegian with whom he had a one-night stand," The Sun quoted
a close friend of Jackson as saying. Other sources, however,
have claimed that Omer is not the real son of Jackson, who
is currently facing a trial on nine counts of child molestation.
The singing sensation has two children Prince Michael, 7,
and Paris, 5, from his ex-wife Debbie Rowe, and a third
child, called Prince Michael II, by a surrogate mother.

Professor Danny Mills of Lincoln University, London
has been recognized as Britain's first professor of animal

and see how their anxieties can be solved. He would also
be studying the links between human and animal behaviour.

London:
Legendary singer Dolly Parton is all set to have her
famous double-D breasts reduced after suffering from terrible
back pain for 30 years. Parton, 58, is desperate to undergo
breast reduction surgery because the weight of her huge
bust is putting a severe strain on her 5 foot 1 inch frame.
The veteran country singer has revealed that even a support
bra cuts into her shoulders leaving her writhing in pain.
"My boobs are killing me - and I don't know if I can stand
the pain any longer," she said. Doctors have told Parton
that her bust needs to be dramatically reduced in size to
prevent permanent damage to her back and shoulders. "My
boobs have been a trademark for me - but I've paid one hell
of a price," femalefirst quoted Parton as saying. "Dolly
complains night and day. She worries that if it's this bad
now, what will it be like 10 years from now," added Parton's
friend.
