        London: The cat and mouse classic cartoon, Tom and Jerry has topped a poll of adults' favourite cartoons that they have cherished right from their youth. According to The Sun, the poll on behalf of cable channel Boomerang questioned 1,000 people aged between 25 and 54 about their memorable cartoon series. Scooby Doo came a close second while Dangermouse came third."Animals with human characteristics are unbeatable," Channel manager Dan Balaam was quoted as saying. The Top Ten per the poll: 1 Tom and Jerry 2 Scooby Doo 3 Dangermouse 4 Top Cat 5 The Flintstones 6 Bugs Bunny 7 Popeye 8 Road Runner 9 Wacky Races 10 Hong Kong Phooey.

         London: Newly-married pop princess Britney Spears has reportedly told her friends that she is expecting her first child with her brand new hubby Kevin Federline. "Britney has told only her family and closest circle that she is pregnant, but now this was passed to the newspaper," femalefirst quoted a source as saying. The source went on to reveal that Britney is less than eight weeks pregnant, but she discovered that only recently, which is probably the reason behind the hurried 'surprise wedding' of the 'Toxic' star.

         New York: Britney Spears has surely got married into one wild family for Kevin Federline's can give the `Brady bunch' serious competition. According to the New York Daily News, Britney is quite happy to be a part of the family that includes two sets of parents, six siblings (one full brother, a stepbrother and stepsister and three half-brothers) as well as three siblings' spouses, two nieces and a nephew. "It's one of those really blended families. In Kevin's family, there are divorces, remarriages and lots of kids - and now grandkids. It's quite a brood," a source was quoted as saying.          Washington: Adventure made way for mystery and horror as 'The Forgotten' ended 'Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow's dominion at Hollywood's box office. The Forgotten, Sony's PG-13 psychological horror movie starring Julianne Moore as a grieving mom battling with mysterious forces in a bid to prove the existence of her dead son raked in an estimated 22 million dollars over the last week. While Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, crashed into second place, earning only 6.7 million dollars over the week making it's two-week, Mr.3000 with estimated earnings of 5 million dollars was ranked third. The top 10 based on studio estimates compiled by Exhibitor Relations are: 1. The Forgotten, 22 million dollars 2. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, 6.7 million dollars 3.          London: England soccer skipper David Beckham and his pop star wife Victoria are reportedly having their son Romeo christened two days before Christmas. According to 'The People', the celebrity couple's two-year-old son, whose godparents are expected to be Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish along with Posh's brother and sister, will be baptised during a grand ceremony at their Hertfordshire home, for which around 100 invitations have already been sent. Baby Spice Emma Bunton, Emmerdale's Patsy Kensit, actress Liz Hurley and England soccer manager Sven Goran Eriksson are also expected to be on the guest list.

         London: Movie actor Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly been dumped by his supermodel girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen, after dating for four years. The stunning catwalk queen is believed to have left their Los Angeles home for New York, and has now been given a shoulder to cry on by 'Pearl Harbour' star Josh Hartnett, whom she got acquainted with at a party thrown by designer Marc Jacobs. "It's definitely over. Gisele got fed up waiting for Leo to pop the question. She loves him but no longer sees him as the man she will marry," The Sun quoted a close friend of Gisele as saying. "The whole experience has been traumatic - Gisele has left her three dogs behind in LA because Leo is very close to them. They have a lot to sort out and hopefully they can remain friends. Gisele has become very close to Josh. He's been a great help to her over the last few weeks," added Gisele's pal.

Melanie Griffith joins the Bush-bashing brigade (Go To Top)

         New York: As the Presidential Elections in the US draw closer, Hollywood stars' "Bush-Bashing" brigade seems to be expanding endlessly, with Melanie Griffith being the latest addition. According to the New York Post, Griffith has reportedly posted her anti- Bush views on her website, and has criticized Bush on numerous fronts. "I am a full-blown Democrat. I always have been. I did visit President George Bush Sr. [sic] and his wife when they were in the White House. However, I feel their son is in there without truly having won the election. I think he is a C-minus president. Don't you have to have straight A's to be valedictorian of a college class? How is it possible that we, the great country of America, have become so deaf, dumb and blind to the obvious?" Griffith opines on her website. "I am voting for John Kerry because I think he is his own man. He is extremely intelligent and has a heart of gold. I have met his wife and she is extremely bright and charismatic. I believe he should be our next president. And if Bush is actually voted in this time, I hope we hold him accountable for 9/11 and for this disastrous war in Iraq. I am p--ed!" she added.

Colin Farrell is a tramp, says Jamelia (Go To Top)

         London: Pop star Jamelia has called film star Colin Farrell a tramp and refused to take his help in getting a break in Hollywood. Colin had said that he would be happy to help Jamelia in breaking ground in tinseltown when she comes to Los Angeles. Jamelia, however, said that she would not fall prey to the Hollywood hunk's good looks and irresistible charm. "I heard Colin Farrell wants to help me when I go to LA. I don't really go for people just because they're good looking," The People quoted Jamelia as saying. "I mean, yes, he is gorgeous. But we all know that he's a tramp and I'm not going to go there," added the sexy singer.
