        London: Britney Spears' mom, Lynne, reportedly made the star sign a pre nuptial agreement before her secret marriage to Kevin Federline. According to the Sun, Britney signed the agreement to protect her 55million dollar fortune reluctantly, because she is so in love with penniless the dancer. Apparently Federline had tough time making both ends meet before he met the pop babe. "Kevin liked to smoke dope. He was doing odd jobs like delivering pizzas before he moved to Los Angeles to seek fame," a source was quoted as saying.

        London: England soccer skipper David Beckham has denied that his marriage to former Spice Girl Victoria is on the rocks. "There's no way in the world that we will ever split up," The Sun quoted Beckham as saying. "Victoria and I didn't get married to be together for a few years and then split up. We married for life and that's the most important thing," he added. Beckham has also said that his marriage is strong enough to withstand the rumours and criticisms of the media and public. "We can take it all," said the soccer sensation. Beckham went on to say that handling fame and success is not an easy task. "I've had so many stalkers. Funny stalkers, scary stalkers, every kind of stalker. One woman turned up at my place every day for about two weeks and just left different pairs of underpants for me in the mailbox.          New York: Victoria and David Beckham are going to court to put an end to rumours regarding their ruined relationship,once and for all. The couple has reportedly launched a legal battle against British tabloid, 'The News Of the World' for reporting that their marriage was on the rocks. The tabloid had carried a report titled, "Posh and Becks on Rocks," in its September 12 issue, claiming that the marriage of Britain's 'golden couple', was in dire straits. The Beckhams had initially asked the tabloid to apologise for the distress the reports had caused them, but since the tabloid failed to do so, the couple has now decided to take legal recourse. "David and Victoria Beckham today initiated legal proceedings against the News of the World in relation to an article published on Sunday, 12 September 2004. The News of the World was given the opportunity to provide an apology but have chosen not to respond to the couple's request," the couple's legal team was quoted by E-online as saying.

         London: Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie has revealed that she has completely sworn off dating actors, instead she now wants a man who can inspire her to do new things. The "Lara Croft" actress who has had two failed marriages with actors, said that she wants to date someone who can teach her how to do things which she has never done before. "If I ever have a relationship again, I don't think it'll be with an actor.        London: General Kalashnikov, whose Kalashnikov range of rifles went on to become the most used rifles in the world after he introduced them in the late 1940's, has now launched his own vodka, in order to carry on the 'good name' of his gun. He said that he hopes that his vodka will also become as huge a hit as his guns and that he will try to make it the best vodka in the world by making it from special Russian grain and water taken from Lake Ladoga north of St Petersburg. "I've always wanted to improve and expand on the good name of my weapon by doing good things. We wanted that vodka to be better than anything made, up until now, in both Russia and England," Ananova quoted him as saying. He also hopes that his vodka will prove to be a potent mix for people, as the alcohol concentration will be as high as 82 percent.

        London: Britney Spears' pop rival Christina Aguilera has termed the formers hasty wedding to dancer Kevin Federline as "low-rent and pathetic." According to Ananova, Aguilera described Britney's secret Kabbalah ceremony this weekend as 'hilarious'. "I'd never have thought that girl would have done it this way. I know she really loves Kevin, but this is like really low rent this time," the singer was quoted as saying. "It's surprising. The whole affair seems somewhat pathetic," she added.

Date-rape cigarettes pose latest terror threat for women (Go To Top)

        London: A deadly new weapon being used for date- rape is hitting the headlines these days, as an unfortunate woman in Swansea, Glamorgan, found much to her distress recently. Two men reportedly raped the 30-year-old woman shortly after giving here a cigarette laced with embalming fluid. The incident took place at the Baron's club in Swansea. According to The Sun, these cigarettes commonly known as `Fry' in America, are made from tobacco or marijuana and treated with formaldehyde and other solvents. A US website has revealed that `Fry' cigarettes have the capacity to kill the user during intake. In America these cigarettes are commonly being used in what police are referring to as "date-rape" drug cases. Studies by the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse have revealed that `Fry' smokers experience toxic psychosis, hallucinations, delusions and even lead to unconsciousness. Cops are now warning women of the date-rape terror.
