a tremendously thoughtful person with remarkable stories
to share, about himself and his career, about his friendships
with people ranging from Marlon Brando to Princess Diana,

again if the world caved in," The Sun quoted the bodyguard
as saying. The staff had orders not to disturb the lovey-dovey
couple in their presidential suite, which has a king-sized
bed and a 'spacious' marble bathtub. The 'Toxic' star had
said last week that she wanted to try for a baby on her
wedding night. Moreover, there is a tradition in the United
States that the bride and groom hold a post-wedding breakfast
with the groom's family the day after their marriage, but
Kevin's mom Colette was left to eat alone with his step-father

she had ignored her plea to keep her daughter Kori and son
Kaleb away from photographers. The 'Moesha' star is scared

London:
Celebrity couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake's
plans of having a winter wedding are reportedly back on
track, after having cancelled them earlier because Timberlake's
mother was against it. The former 'N Sync' frontman's mother
had refused to attend the wedding and was strongly opposed
to it because she felt that he is still too young to be
taking such an important decision. This had made Diaz and
Timberlake call of the wedding altogether. But now Timberlake
and the "Charlie's Angles' actress, who is nine years elder
to him, have decided that they will go ahead with it after
all, and are said to be trying to convince Timberlake's
parents again. "Lynn (Timberlake's mother) is very protective
of Justin and simply feels he's too young to make such a
big commitment. She had to pick up the pieces after he split
with Britney and still thinks of her little boy as being
a sensitive and young soul," The Daily Star quoted a source
as saying.

Why
eyes in paintings seem to follow you, revealed (Go
To Top)
Washington:
Why eyes in some paintings seem to follow you across
the room is a question that has been mystifying scientists
since centuries, and now a group of researchers from the
Ohio State University and University of Utrecht in The Netherlands
may have finally found the answer. They have revealed that
the eyes in the paintings don't follow you at all, it is
only your perception of the painting that makes you believe
that you are being watched. According to the researchers,
whose study was published in the journal 'Perception,' the
earlier belief that this phenomenon takes place because
changes in viewing direction, i.e. the angle at which you
look at the picture from and the distance at which you are
looking at the picture from, changes your perception of
the picture, is what makes you feel that the eyes are looking
at you, is not true at all. When people see a picture, although
they realise that it is a still life, they subconsciously
tend to imagine that the eyes are following them in the
same way a live person's eyes would, which is responsible
for this visual effect. It is this failure to properly differentiate
between a real life phenomenon and a painting that makes
people feel that they are being watched. "When we look at
a picture, you have these two perceptions simultaneously,
but it is difficult to make sense of that conceptually.
That's why this issue has fascinated people for hundreds
of years," the research quoted James Todd, the co-author
of the as saying.

London:
This year's Munich popular Oktoberfest beer festival
has turned out to be the bawdiest ever, with some of the
female participants revealing more than normal after a couple
of beers and some sausages. "It's true, the first weekend
proved one of the bawdiest ever, with many an exposed nipple
as well as the huge quantities of beer consumed," Germany's
Express newspaper quoted a spokesman for the fest as saying.
Around one million revellers reportedly stormed the beer
tents on the first weekend alone, consuming 560,000 large
Bavarian beers. Many women reportedly lifted their shirts
to flash their breasts for fun and police had to intervene
to keep the crowds from trampling each other. "It was a
wonderful first weekend. The atmosphere is very carefree,"
the report quoted organiser Gabriele Weishaeupl as saying.
