          London: Movie actress Nicole Kidman has dismissed rumours that she is suffering from brittle bone disease, osteoporosis. The 'Cold Mountain' star said that there is no truth at all in the claims that she had recently taken a bone density test. "I'm supposed to have it because of my weight and apparently I'm having tests in hospital, but I laughed because no-one told me. I haven't had tests for anything. I haven't had tests for anything," the Daily Mail quoted Nicole as saying. The stunning actress also went on to say that she has not lost any weight, despite recent pictures of her looking very skinny. "I've always been thin. Yet the same story keeps getting more and more absurd. It's amusing that, with everything else that's going on in the world, people are concerned about my weight. But guess what? I've always been like this - ever since I studied ballet as a girl," added the Australian beauty.

         London: Hotel heiress Paris Hilton is the latest celebrity to convert to Kabbalah, following the likes of pop icons like Madonna and Britney Spears. Paris has revealed that she drives straight to her local Kabbalah centre for help whenever she is upset. The hi-flying socialite also said that speaking to fellow devotees of Kabbalah helps her deal with the stressful life in the spotlight. "When I split with Nick (Carter) I coped by going straight to the Kabbalah Centre in Los Angeles, told everyone about the break-up and got a new [red string Kabbalah] bracelet," Britain's More magazine quoted Paris as saying. "I go there regularly it helps me deal with my life," she added.

Prosecutors ask Love for prescriptions (Go To Top)

         Washington: Troubled singer Courtney Love's prosecutors have asked her to produce the prescriptions, for the drugs she had on her when she allegedly broke her ex-boyfriend 'Nirvana' frontman Kurt Cobain's house windows last year, in court. According to Ratethemusic, Love has denied the charges that she was carrying the drugs without a prescription. Love's trial on the felony drug charge is scheduled to begin on 30 September, this year.

Rowling gives sneak peak into `half blood prince' in next Potter (Go To Top)

          London: Harry Potter creator JK Rowling has given her fans a sneak peak into what the new character 'the half blood prince,' in the sixth Potter book "Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince," will look like. According to the Sun, the 39-year old wordsmith released an extract on her website and readers had to crack a secret code to reach the extract. In the paragraph she gave a description of the new character, "He looked rather like an old lion. There were streaks of grey in his mane of tawny hair and his bushy eyebrows; he had keen yellowish eyes behind a pair of wire-rimmed spectacles and a certain rangy, loping grace even though he walked with a slight limp," she wrote. She also revealed that the new book might see a love affair between Harry's best friends Hermoine and Ron. The book is the second last in the series of seven books and the last book will see Harry finally face his arch-enemy Voldermort.

`Shrek 2' emerges summer's highest grossing movie (Go To Top)

         Washington: An adorable green ogre, a mutant human with spider like qualities and a boy wizard took away the top honours at the box-office this summer as "Shrek 2," "Spiderman 2" and "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" emerged as this summer's highest grossers. While "Shrek 2," the sequel to 2001's blockbuster "Shrek" netted a total of 436.5 million dollars, breaking almost every Hollywood movie's box office record, "Spiderman 2" made 364.8 million dollars. This summer's top ten movies and their estimates as per Exhibitor Relations were: 1. Shrek 2, 436.5 million dollars 2. Spider-Man 2, 367.8 million dollars 3.          London: Film star Gwyneth Paltrow was photographed with her baby daughter Apple as she boarded the Eurostar train at London's Waterloo station. The 'Shakespeare In Love' actress, married to 'Coldplay' singer Chris Martin, was going to Paris for a short break. "Gwyneth looked like a doting mother. She was like every other mum struggling with her bags and a pushchair," The Sun quoted an onlooker as saying.           London: Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her singer husband Chris Martin have bought 'Titanic' star Kate Winslet's palatial house in London. According to Femalefirst, the couple were keen on buying the 3.73 million pound property as a family home in which they could move in with their newborn daughter Apple. The couple have reportedly hired builders to modify the property to suit their needs. It includes building a five feet wall to keep intruders out.

Shape of pubic hair shapes women's personality (Go To Top)

          London: A Japanese professor has claimed that the shape of women's pubic hair determines their personalities! Professor Asaki Geino who has published a thesis on his theory also credits the shape of Japanese women's pubic hair, as being responsible for his country's success in the world arena. His thesis classifies women into five types, with most Japanese women having pubic hair like an 'inverted triangle'. "This type is characterised by faithfulness and fitness for family life. Women of this type are good mothers, faithful wives and caring daughters," Pravda quoted Geino as saying. "I don't think I'm wrong when I say that precisely this type of woman helped Japan become the glorious country it is," he added. Geino went on to say that women with pubic hair similar to the 'mouth of a river' are most likely to be unfaithful. "Usually female pubic hair grows in the form of an upside down triangle, but some women's is oblong or elliptical in shape," the report quoted Geino as saying. "It's not that rare for women with oblong-shaped pubic hair to fall in love at first sight or fall head-over-heels with passion. They also don't like sitting at home on their own," added the Jap professor.

          Washington: After playing Jesus in the Mel Gibson directed "The Passion of the Christ", actor Jim Caviezel may soon set your heart beats racing by playing Superman. According to Zap2it, the rumour mills were sent working after comic book writer Mark Millar revealed that Caviezel will don a cape to play the superhero in the upcoming Bryan Singer-directed "Superman" film. on his website www.millarworld.net.
