London:
Julia Roberts is reportedly planning a five-year-long
hiatus from the movies after becoming a mother early next
year. The 'Pretty Women' star, who is pregnant with twins,
has told her pals that she has no big screen return plans.
"She says she's taking at least five years off from movie-making
to raise her twins. She's waited so long to be a mother,
and fought so hard to be one, that she wants to devote all
her time to her babies," Britain's Now magazine quoted Julia's
personal trainer, Kathy Kaehler, as saying. Roberts is also
not in a hurry to get back into shape after delivery. "Julia
couldn't care less about getting her movie star body back
once those babies are born. She says her body will return
to where it was naturally over time, instead of rushing
it with crazy diets. She thinks it sends the wrong message,"
Kaehler added.

London:
Jarvis Cocker, the Pulp frontman, has been signed up
to provide the soundtrack for the upcoming 'Harry Potter'
film. The singer was reportedly approached by movie bosses
to provide the score to the fourth movie, 'Harry Potter
and the Goblet of Fire', after new director Mike Newell
insisted he wanted a modern artist for the position. Along
with composing all the music for the wizard movie, the indie
rocker would also make a small cameo appearance in the movie,
though his exact part has not been revealed as yet. Everyone
here is really excited about Jarvis being involved. He is
a very talented musician who is a big fan of movies and
knows exactly how they work. You may just think Jarvis is
the bloke in specs who fronted Pulp but he is a man with
hidden depths," a source at Warner Bros. was quoted by the
Sun, as saying. Cocker will also be responsible for choosing
all other additional music for the movie.

(Go

London:
Kim Basinger believes that it is tragic that Hollywood
actresses have a shelf life and that little interest is
shown in making films for mature women. "It depresses me
that there are so few roles written for grown-up women,"
said 50-year-old Basinger in an interview with Germany's
'Welt am Sonntag' newspaper. Basinger revealed that she
had stopped counting the number of times she was told that
she was too old and too mature for a role she was keen to
play. "For every woman like Meryl Streep or Susan Sarandon,
who thanks to their talent are able to keep their career
continuing, there are a dozen well-known actresses over
40 who can't get any roles any more," the 'LA Confidential'
star said.

Washington:
Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez's hubby Marc Anthony's
ex-fiancee Claudette Lali has warned the 'Maid In Manhattan'
star to stay as independent as possible because the salsa
singer liked to control her every move when she was dating
him. Lali, who is a successful model and had dated Anthony
eight years back in 1986 for six months, has revealed that
having a relationship with him was not fun at all times.
"He will do whatever it takes to make you feel like you
have met your prince - you feel loved and protected. (But)
there was no way I could go out to dinner with friends or
travel on my own," America's 'In Touch' magazine quoted
Lali as saying. Lali also revealed that Anthony had tried
his best to convince her to quit modelling so that they
could spend more time together. "We would fight over that,"
she said. The stunning model went on to say that Anthony
finally ended their relationship and asked for the diamond
ring that he had gifted her, a move that left her devastated.
"I had to get a motivational coach just to try to find myself
because I was Marc's shadow," said Lali.

Washington:
Pop diva Madonna and her director husband Guy Ritchie
are reportedly teaming up to work together in another film
titled 'Revolver', the shooting for which will commence
from next week in London. The celebrity couple's last film
'Swept Away', which was released in 2000, was torn to shreds
by critics and had failed to hit the box office jackpot
as well, according to rate the music. But it seems that
their unsuccessful past in movie making has not deterred
them from venturing into another ambitious movie project
again.
