David
Beckham and Victoria cousins? (Go

London:
Top genealogist Nick Barratt has claimed that England
soccer skipper David Beckham may have married a relative
in wife Victoria. Barratt, who is the expert behind BBC
family tree series Who Do You Think You Are? ,made the 'surprising
discovery' while tracing the celebrity couple's backgrounds.
"Posh and Becks may have descended from the same family
and could have a common ancestor," The Sun quoted Barratt
as saying. The Real Madrid midfielder is from Leytonstone,
East London and the former Spice Girl was born as Victoria
Adams in Goff's Oak, Herts. Barratt found that that the
Adams family descended from a family called Eltridge, while
Beckham's ancestors were also called Eldridge, and both
clans lived in the Clerkenwell area of London in the early
19th Century. The famous genealogist said that the unusual
surnames of David and Victoria are so similar that the Eltridges
and the Eldridges could have been the same family. "The
fact both families ended up living in Clerkenwell adds weight
to this theory. The most likely scenario is the Eltridge
name got misspelt and the family adopted it," explained
Barratt. "It means David and Victoria Beckham probably share
some percentage of the same gene pool," he added.

London:
You must have heard of blood donation, but women in
Argentina are thronging in queues for donating urine and
what more they are getting paid for it in terms of gifts.
According to La Nacion newspaper the women in post menopausal
stage from Buenos Aires, Zarate and La Plata are being encouraged
by Massarone Institute to donate urine by receiving gifts
such as glass jugs and fridges. The urine is then sold by
the Institute to companies that make fertility drugs using
a hormone, a gram of which is derived from 200 thousand
litres of urine. "Last year we exported 14 million doses
of the medication and we hope to increase that this year.
The gifts are great incentives and lots of women are coming
for them, bringing their sisters, mothers and friends,"
a spokesperson for the institute was quoted as saying.

London:
Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan has reportedly revealed
that he was in a state of shock for 24 hours after knowing
that he would no longer be playing James Bond in the 007
series. "It was their (the producers) prerogative to change
their minds. They can do it! It was disappointing. It was
surprising. And I accepted the knowledge after 24 hours
of being in shock," Brosnan was quoted by Femalefirst, as
saying. The actor admitted that although he knew he would
be replaced by a younger star, yet he could not immediately
accept the fact. "If you have that thought ruminating in
your head, knowing that things are going to change, knowing
that you're going to get older, knowing it only lasts a
certain amount of time playing a certain role. So you know
something's going to be finished, it's going to be over.
And it comes with a great disappointment, but it also comes
with a great satisfaction of having achieved the success
with it that I had achieved," Brosnan added.
