Madonna is not going to study English in Oxford (Go To Top)

         Washington: Pop diva Madonna has rubbished rumours that she has enrolled at Britain's prestigious Oxford University to study English Literature. It was earlier rumoured that the 'Frozen' star had signed up for a distance learning programme over the Internet, but an Oxford University spokesman revealed that they don't provide online degree courses. "We don't actually do online degree courses, so there can't be any truth in this," rate the music quoted the spokesman as saying. Madonna's agent, meanwhile, said, "As far as I know, this is rubbish."

Is J Lo's lustrous blonde hair fake? (Go To Top)

         Washington: Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has been hit with accusations that her lustrous mane of thick and shiny blonde hair is actually a wig. Insiders have revealed that the 'Maid in Manhattan' has added fake hair to her own original tresses to make them appear thicker. "Her real hair is shoulder length and thing. It's cute, but it's not movie star hair, which has to be thick and beautiful. The fake hair has a hairline that starts up high on her head because the wig sits on top of the real hair," America's People magazine quoted a source as saying, However, the curvaceous diva's representatives have yet to confirm or deny the allegations.

         London: Japanese guru Hideto Tomabechi has claimed that he has invented a mobile phone ring tone called Rockmelon that can help women's breasts to grow bigger. According to Ananova, Tomabechi's Rockmelon tone registered more than 10,000 downloads in the first week alone, which he claims has sounds that make the brain and body move unconsciously. Tomabechio calls the subliminal breast booster a kind of 'positive brainwashing' and says that it draws on his teachings of the powers of cognitive science. "I listened to the tune for a week expecting all the time that I was being duped. But, incredibly, my 34-inch bust grew to 35 inches. It was awesome," the report quoted a satisfied Rockmelon tone user as saying. Tomabechi has now revealed that he is also planning to create other ring tones to help people quit smoking, combat baldness and attract a mate.

        London: Agent 007 has now turned into a Yank. We are talking about Pierce Brosnan who has become a US citizen. "I found a whole new life and identity in America, but my heart and soul will be forever Irish,"the Irish actor was quoted by The Sun as saying after he was sworn in at a Los Angeles courtroom. Brosnan, who lives in Malibu, is expected to maintain dual citizenship.

         London: She might have been a blonde earlier, but ever since Britney Spears coloured her hair brown, she has acquired a fondness for it. According to The Sun, the 22-year old singer was seen wearing a slogan T-shirt that said 'Brunettes are so hot right now'. Earlier she was spotted wearing "I Am The American Dream" on her shirt.

          London: Missing your boyfriend's comforting cuddles? Time for you to check out cuddly pillows. According to Ananova, pillows that include a false arm that gently cuddles the sleeper in bed are the latest fad in Japan. The pillows called 'The Boyfriend's Arm Pillow' consist of a torso and a stuffed, soft arm that gently cuddles the sleeper and also keeps the body balanced by supporting the sleeper from both sides. More than 1000 of these pillows have reportedly been sold eversince they were launched, claim the Manufacturers Kameo.

Dick Cheney takes a jibe at John Kerry's orange hair tan (Go To Top)

         New York: Even a minor change in personality gets noticed, especially if you are in fray for the U.S. presidential elections , like Senator John Kerry, whose orange coloured hair is the talk of the town. According to New York Post, U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney was so inspired by Kerry's carrot-color tan that he couldn't help taking a dig at it. "It's not easy being orange." Cheney was quoted as saying at a Republican U.S. Senate fundraiser in Washington.

Beck's son to get Elton John's fortune (Go To Top)

         London: England soccer star David Beckham's son Brooklyn seems to have found a Godfather in Sir Elton John, who will be leaving him a share of his millions when he dies. According to The Sun, John wants to divide his 175 million pound fortune between his ten godchildren, including five-year-old Brooklyn, his little brother Romeo, Elizabeth Hurley's son Damiana and Sean Lennon, the son of murdered Beatle John Lennon. "David and I are godfathers to Brooklyn and Damian. I have about ten godchildren. I love kids. There was a part of me going, 'Who am I going to leave this to?' It was going to be nobody.We have enough godchildren to leave everything to now. They're going to inherit a fair old whack but they play a big part in our lives," Elton John was quoted as saying.
