London:
David Beckham's son Brooklyn is supposedly paying the
price for his Dad's fame, for Beckham has been banned from
taking Brooklyn to school because of the chaos he causes.
According to Femalefirst, Madrid's Runnymede College has
asked Beckham to stop his school run as other parents have
complained about the waiting hordes of photographers and
fans at the gates. "The decision about the school run has
been taken by David and Victoria and there has been some
dialogue with the school. It is a sensitive issue," Beckham's
spokesman was quoted as saying. "Parents and teachers were
growing increasingly concerned about the daily circus at
the school gates whenever David arrived with Brooklyn,"
an insider added.
Google
search turns scholarly (Go

Washington:
Google has now launched a new search engine, Google
Scholar which can exclusively search for academic texts
and scientific articles, instead of web pages. The free
search engine launched at http://scholar.google.com, draws
upon newly developed algorithms to list the academic research
that appears to be most relevant to a search request. "Google
has benefited a lot from scholarly research, so this is
one way we are giving back to the scholarly community,"
Nature quoted Anurag Acharya, a Google engineer who helped
develop the new search tools, as saying. The search engine
would only return the most relevant seminal papers on the
subject searched, rather than the web sites. Google Scholar
has a subversive feature, however. Each hit also links to
all the free versions of the article it has found saved
on other sites, for example on personal home pages, elsewhere
on the Internet.

A

London:
A woman's skeleton with a shiny set of teeth that survived
after 9,000 years has been nicknamed Julia Roberts by archeologists
because of her perfect teeth. According to Ananova, preserved
remains of cattle bones and wheat found near her body in
Ohoden in northwest Bulgaria show her diet was similar to
what many people eat today in less developed areas of the
world, but her teeth were far superior. Georgi Ganetsovski,
the expedition leader said the skeleton was believed to
be the oldest ever found in Europe. "She was a rare beauty
and could have competed with today's Hollywood stars with
her perfect set of teeth. She is a stone age Julia Roberts.
She would have had a perfect smile - it really is a puzzle,"
he was quoted as saying.
Being
gay in Alexander's time normal: Oliver Stone (Go

London:
The director of the movie 'Alexander' has defended the
depiction of the great conqueror's bisexuality in his epic
movie, by saying that it was very common during that time.
In the movie, actor Colin Farrell, who plays the Macedonia
leader, is shown kissing two men, a Macedonian soldier and
a topless Persian who becomes his lover. It also touches
upon Alexander's deepest affection for his fellow warrior
Hephaistion played by Jared Leto. "Alexander lived in a
more honest time. We go into his bisexuality. It may offend
some people, but sexuality in those days was a different
thing. Pre-Christian morality. Young boys were with boys
when they wanted to be," Ananova quoted him as saying. Stone
also said that the scenes had not been added to titillate
the audience "You only need five words. Alexander says,
'Stay with me tonight, Hephaistion,' and you get it. If
you don't get it, f*** you, it's your problem," he added.

look at his life ... and realized the most important thing
