Keeping up her penchant for adopting babies, Angelina
Jolie has allegedly bought a Russian baby this time by paying
an undisclosed fee to a young Georgian mother for her newborn
son, reports Femalefirst. "The boy's mother got a hefty
amount of money for it. Miss Jolie made a secret agreement
with her and she got her baby several days after the money
was delivered. The baby is already in America with her and
it was registered in its new mother's name to avoid a lot
of paperwork," Russian newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets quoted
an insider as saying. Russian adoption officials will visit
Angelina and her Hollywood home to make sure the baby is
being looked after.

The popular television series Baywatch could soon be
on the big screen, as DreamWorks confirmed that it has sealed
a seven-figure deal for feature film rights to the show.
According to E-Online, the star cast for the movie version
has not been decided yet but rumours are abuzz that David
Hasselhoff is not connected with the project, while its
still a mystery whether beach beauties like Pamela Anderson,
Carmen Electra and Yasmine Bleeth will be part of the project.
DreamWorks has reportedly forked over 1.25 million dollars
for the rights and is currently searching for a writer to
chalk out a script for the movie which will be ready by
2006.

After Renee Zellweger it is George Clooney's turn to
gain excessive weight for a movie role. According to Femalefirst,
the Hollywood hunk is desperately trying to put on weight
to play an overweight soldier in cold war thriller 'Syriana'.
The 'Ocean's11' star is reportedly on a high- calorie diet
of Krispy Kreme donuts, which are also Holmer Simpson's
favourite in the cartoon series 'The Simpsons'. "He'll eat
anything, but his favourite is Krispy Kreme doughnuts,"
a source was quoted as saying. "He buys boxes at a time
and even had consignments sent to his place in Italy. Otherwise
it's pizzas and burgers," he added.

Janet Jackson's 'wardrobe malfunction' has certainly
left TV giant CBS in a soup for The Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) levied the maximum penalty for indecency,
totalling 500,000 dollars on 20 of its stations after the
incident. According to femalefirst, CBS is fighting the
large fine insisting the incident was not intentional. It
accepts the incident has become a "defining moment" in broadcast
history but has denied that the brief exposure violated
those standards. They also argued the fine violated the
right to free speech and risked the entire future of live
television. "Something cannot be 'designed' without advance
knowledge. If it stands, the (proposed fine) will lead to
the end of live broadcasting as we know it by placing broadcasters
on notice that they risk massive liability and perhaps licence
revocation if they fail to adopt technical measures to avoid
the possibility of a spontaneous transgression," a CBS statement
said.

America as she will join four other supermodels including
Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum in a nation wide tour to promote
'Victoria's Secrets' latest lingerie collection. The beauties
will travel to a number of American states in a bus which
will have the slogan 'Angels Across America' splashed across
it along with the images of the models wearing items from
the collection. According to Hello magazine, their first
stop will be the Palm Hotel in Las Vegas, which will put
up a 45 storey hoarding of the models, after which they
will be inducted into the Hard Rock Cafi's Hall of Fame
and will also launch a concert for rock band 'Black Eyed

Horror movie doll, Chucky's latest victim will be pop
diva Britney Spears, as he will be seen chasing her off
a cliff in his new movie. The producers of the movie reportedly
added the scene after Britney's management label refused
to let them use Britney's song 'Baby One More Time' in the
film's soundtrack. According to Ananova, the movie 'Seed
of Chucky,' shows Chucky having sex with a Britney doll
and the filmmakers wanted to run the song with the scene.
But Britney's managers said that it would be extremely 'inappropriate'
to use the song and turned down the suggestion. The film's
producers reportedly decided to take revenge by showing
Chucky chasing a Britney look alike off a cliff in the film's
promos. The promo, however, clearly mentions that Britney
does not appear in the film.
