Omar Sharif in a boozy brawl at the Umaid
Bhavan Palace
London:
Egyptian actor Omar Sharif reportedly rammed a table
lamp into his fellow actor, 'Lord of the Rings' star John
Noble's face after the two got into a violent argument at
the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur recently. The two actors,
who are shooting in the desert city for the movie 'One Night
With the King,' which also stars acting legend Peter O Toole,
were reportedly quite drunk when an argument turned into
a fist fight following which Sharif hit Noble with the lamp.
Although the reason behind the argument is not known, 72-year
old Sharif, who has starred in movies like 'Laurence of
Arabia' and 'Doctor Zhivago,' is said to have stopped immediately
after he hit Noble with the lamp. Noble later had to be
helped by the hotel staff as he picked out glass pieces
from his face. Spokespersons for Sharif and Noble refused
to comment even as the filmmakers decided to go ahead with
the shooting of the movie, the next day, despite the fact
that Noble was not present on the sets. "A bunch of people
were having dinner at the hotel and they had been drinking
heavily. The conversation developed into a major disagreement
between John Noble and Omar - although no one is quite sure
what it was about," the Mirror quoted an onlooker as saying.
"Their voices were getting louder and louder and then the
next thing we knew there were fists flying everywhere. Omar
then grabbed a small lamp and hit John in the face with
it. The shock of what happened seemed to bring the fight
to an end and John was later picking bits of glass out of
his face with the help of the bar staff," the source added.

Tom
Cruise wants David Beckham in Mission Impossible 3
London: If Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise has his way then
soccer star David Beckham will soon be seen doing a cameo
in 'Mission: Impossible 3'. The 'Collateral' star who is
a soccer aficionado and a great fan of Beckham, has struck
a good rapport with David and his family, and would love
him to have a small role in his latest movie. "David is
building up a profile in the States as a soccer stud and
could easily feature in a cameo role in the movie. Tom is
not only the star of the movie but also the producer, so
what he says goes. If he wants David to feature in the film,
then he will," a source was quoted by the Daily Star as
saying. "It would boost audiences in the UK and the Far
East. Tom is very shrewd and would be fully aware of the

A Swiss men's magazine which offered free sex as a promotional
campaign to celebrate its 20th anniversary has come under

that beats the free music CDs or posters that our rivals
were offering," Pietro Attardo, spokesman for the magazine
Okay, was quoted by Ananova as saying. The magazine offers
