          Sydney: All the reports of his stormy romantic encounters could not prevent David Beckham from winning the Celebrity Dad of the Year Award. Despite allegations of a number of affairs, the England football star has received hundreds of public votes for the title, reports the Sydney Morning Herald. Other contenders for the award included TV host Jonathan Ross, Sir Bob Geldof and chef Jamie Oliver. British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Chancellor Gordon Brown have been nominated for the award for balancing a hectic public life with the demands of parenting.

          London: After unleashing a savage attack on Victoria Beckham in her book 'Being Jordan', Jordan now wants to smoke the peace pipe. In an interview to Radio 1 Jordan expressed her desire to go out for a drink with Victoria and make up for what happened in the past. "Victoria probably needs a shoulder to cry on and I apologize. I know I mentioned David in my book, but I've told nothing but the truth," Jordan was quoted by the Sun as saying. However, Jordan still shows little mercy towards Jodie Marsh who is currently dating Jordan's ex-love Scott Sullivan. "What is her name? Miss Marsh? I wish her all the best with my ex. They suit each other. And Scott, stop wearing the clothes I bought you," the celeb added.

          London: A book by a friend of late John F Kennedy Jr. has revealed a romantic incident between the former President's son and Sarah Jessica Parker, reports the Sun. The 'Sex And the City' star Sarah Jessica Parker who dated Kennedy Jr. in the late 80s, reportedly once greeted him at an airport wearing just a fur coat.

          Sydney: Britney Spears has now set her eyes on singer Robbie Williams. The pop star has expressed her keen desire to sing with the 'Angels' star and help him achieve fame in the US, reports the Sydney Morning Herald. Britney chose Williams of all the British artists because "he's hot and really sexy", Spears was quoted as saying. "You know what, I think he's just beginning," she told MTV's TRL show. I think we should do something together and he'll blow up," the singer added.

          New York: Hollywood beauty and Oscar winner Charlize Theron is all set to marry her longtime boyfriend Stuart Townsend this summer. The star who won an Oscar for her performance in the Monster had earlier categorically stated that she had no plans to marry Townsend whom she had met during the shooting of the thriller, Trapped. She had also stated that they did not need a formal ceremony to cement their relationship. But according to imdb a close friend of the South African actress says a romantic ceremony is being planned in the next few months. "The place and date are secret but it will definitely be this summer," the source was further quoted as saying.

          New York: Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt will play the role of the aristocratic Mr Darcy in the latest adaptation of the classic, Pride and Prejudice. Pitt will be seen in the attire of a typical English gentleman of the past, wearing breeches and a waistcoat, according to imdb. Keira Knightley of Bend It Like Beckham fame will star as Jane Austen's intelligent heroine Elizabeth Bennet. The 1995 BBC television adaptation was a huge success worldwide and launched Love Actually star Colin Firth to fame.
