London:
The future king, Prince Charles, has revealed he eats
only once a day to keep trim, apparently following the example
of the well-preserved presenter, Des O'Connor. He reportedly
explained his regime to slimming guru Rosemary Conley, who
went to Buckingham Palace to receive a CBE. "We talked about
the problem of national obesity. It's such a challenge,
if the nation was as fit as the Prince, there would be no
problem. He said he only eats one meal a day," she said.
According to Hello, veteran entertainer Des, who recently
announced he is to become a father again at the age of 72,
follows the same dietary plan. A Clarence House spokesman
has also confirmed that the future king is a conscientious
nibbler. "The Prince of Wales has long been an advocate
of healthy eating and does encourage people to have a healthy
diet," he said.

London:
Dan Leach, 21, who murdered his pregnant girlfriend,
Ashley Wilson, 19, confessed after watching Mel Gibson's
film 'Passion Of The Christ'. According to the Sun, Leach
walked into a police station and admitted that he had killed
Ashley two months ago because he could not cope with the
feeling of being a dad. Leach told officers that after watching
the movie, which opened nationwide in the United Kingdom
recently, he realised that he would not be forgiven for
his sins unless he came clean and confessed. A coroner had,
however, ruled that Ashley hanged herself after going off
anti-depressants because of her baby. Leach had wore gloves
and left no DNA behind, adds the report. Detective Mike
Kubricht said, "He was very meticulous. It was well-planned
and well-executed." "He felt in order to have redemption
he would have to confess his sin and do his time," a cop
added. Meanwhile, Leach, of Rosenburg, Houston, faces life
in jail, says the report.

'Majority
of workers don't trust their bosses' (Go

London:
When it comes to trusting bosses, well, a vast majority
of workers don't, a survey has revealed. The problem is
worse the more senior the manager, with four out of five
workers saying they distrust directors and two-thirds not
believing in their immediate superior, according to a report
in This is London. Only one in ten staff said they actively
trusted the directors of their company, the poll by HR Gateway
found. The problem was down to 'badly implemented changes'
such as restructuring within organisations and moving offices,
experts said. Managers had to do a lot more to restore their
workers' faith in them. "Most of the time it comes down
to three things - communication, trust and praise", said
Karen Charlesworth, of the Chartered Management Institute.
