Perhaps the Beckhams saw something at some garden show which inspired them to get their own set of ruins." The couple were forced to stop building work on the 28-square metre chapel earlier this year after a resident tipped off council officials that the Beckhams did not have planning permission. But Tory-run East Herts council has now granted retrospective consent for the chapel and the set of ruins.
