          New York: Jennifer Lopez is leaving no stone unturned in her quest to remain away from the media. She has warned friends, relatives and employees not to entertain any media inquires about her personal life. "No one is allowed to talk about her to anyone. If they are employees and they leak stories, they will be fired. If they are a friend, they will be shut out," a source was quoted by pagesix.com as saying.

Britney set to wed 'one more time'  (Go To Top)

New York: If rumours are to be believed then pop queen Britney Spears is set to walk the aisle with boyfriend, Kevin Federline, and this time it's no joke. The pop star had earlier married a close friend Jason Alexander, in a drunken fit and annulled the marriage within hours. But if fresh reports doing the rounds are to be believed, then this time Spears will wed Federline in her Los Angeles penthouse. "Britney is ecstatic. She has fallen head over heels for Kevin, but she wants to enjoy the moment in private. This time she really wants to do things properly," a friend of the star was quoted as saying in The New York Daily Mail.

Ex Atomic Kitten headed for heady Hollywood heights (Go To Top)

         London: Liz McClarnon has found a pedestal to launch her to stardom in Hollywood and could soon be rubbing shoulders with heavyweights like Jessica Simpson and Ashton Kutcher . The former Atomic Kitten singer has reportedly bagged a role in a 15 million pounds project, and if reports are to be believed , the project could help her in carving out a niche in Hollywood, something which many pop stars have tried to do earlier, but in vain. According to The Mirror, Liz's talent was first noticed when she presented a stint for Fox Kids TV. The owners of the channel, Buena Vista, found her to be natural and began to look for an appropriate role for her to play. A production company associated with Buena Vista then approached Liz with a lead role for a movie based on New York based dating agents. The company has reportedly offered Liz 500,000 pounds for the role. "She's absolutely thrilled about the film," spokesperson for Liz was quoted as saying.

          London: Pop diva Britney Spears has bounced back to the numero uno position in the UK music charts. According to The BBC, Britney's single 'Everytime' pushed Mario Winan's 'I don't wanna know' to the second spot to cling to the top slot. 'Come on England' by 4-4-2, appears at the third position in the charts.

Posh's heart bleeds for not so posh orphans  (Go To Top)

         London: 'Posh Spice' was really touched when she got the real taste of the not so posh life style of orphans in Peru. According to The Sun, Victoria Beckham was in South America to film a Sports relief documentary "A mile Into Their Shoes" to be aired on BBC1. Posh admits that the heartrending plight of poor orphans gave her time for introspection into her own luxurious lifestyle, which is far removed from the ugly hands of poverty. "They deserve to go to school, have a safe home and enough food and health care," Posh was quoted by the report as saying. "What they do have is plenty of love and spirit. And Sport Relief is trying to help with local projects. I urge you to watch the documentary," she added.

          New York: It was 40 years back when the Fab four, George, John, Paul and Ringo, gave their first stage performance in New Zealand after which they never looked back. And to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their arrival in the US, 'Guitar Player' magazine is coming out with a series of collector's issues that will feature the Fab Four together, and each of the members on their own, on the covers.

Burrell goes on 'In His Own Words' despite royal protest  (Go To Top)

         London: Princess Diana's wide-mouthed butler Paul Burrell seems to be banking so much on the publicity that he has gathered for himself that even the royal family's wrath doesn't seem to deter him. According to the Sun, Burrell recently took to stage to perform his one-man show, called In His Own Words, at the Theatre Royal in London's West End despite vehement protests by the Queen and Prince William lookalikes outside the theatre. The Royal Family has already asked him to stop his revelatory tirade against the princess and have refused to talk him since the publication of his book 'The Royal Duty'.

Red Hot Chili Peppers set 'Harry Potter' on fire (Go To Top)

          London: Californian rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers set London on fire this week with 1,70,000 fans gathering to watch them play in Hyde Park, including "Harry Potter" star Danielle Radcliff. According to The Sun, the singers who shot to fame in the early 90's with their album "Blood Sugar Sex Magic," proved that they are still in great shape as they drove the crowd to a frenzy with the opening song "Cant Stop" and went on to perform their more recent hits like "Californication" and "Scar Tissue." "Harry Potter" star Danielle Radcliff was spotted at the gig with a friend. New Zealand cricket team captain Stephen Fleming is also reported to have attended the concert with friends. The singers are slated to perform in Cardiff next.
