          London: While David Beckham is busy with the Euro 2004, his wife Victoria "Posh" Beckham is finding new ways to keep herself occupied. According to Hello magazine, the singer has been spotted at a production of Swan Lake at London's Royal Albert Hall. However, instead of her trademark Dolce & Gabbana outfit, the singer was spotted in a below the knee springtime dress. But her ensemble is not the only unusual thing about her of late, the former Spice Girls member also had an unusual date for the English National Ballet performance, the stylish star came along with her dad Tony Adams.

Couple's clothes stolen by thief during park romp (Go To Top)

         London: A couple having sex in an Aberdeen city park, had to walk home in their 'birthday suits' after their clothes were stolen by a thief. According to Ananova, the man involved reportedly ran away after his clothes were stolen at Bon Accord Terrace Gardens. The 23-year old woman was left alone to walk half a mile home through Aberdeen City Centre, and she had only three sheets of newspaper to cover her modesty. When the woman reached her flat she found that her flat-mate had locked her out and to top it all, her keys were in her stolen jacket. The flat-mate is said to be the woman's boyfriend. However, a neighbour had to call police, who arrived to let the woman in.

Britney injures her knee (Go To Top)

          Washington: Britney Spears seems to be knee-deep in trouble these days. She recently injured her knee during her "Outrageous" video. According to MTV, an expert on knee surgery said that she would do well to give her joint a rest for several weeks. Spears is scheduled to resume her North American tour on June 22 Dr. Eli Bryk, chairman of orthopedic surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York said that the best-case scenario is that Spears would only need two to three weeks after surgery before she can dance again. In the worst-case scenario, however she'd need six weeks. "It's highly unlikely that in 11 or 12 days she'd be able to resume dancing. At least, not the kind of athletic dancing she does. In her case, it was an acute onset and obviously very painful so she probably has swelling and pain and may have had locking in the knee joint. She probably couldn't extend her knee, probably couldn't walk," he said. "The muscles become very weak after this surgery. The knee joint becomes very stiff. She might need a brace or some extra support. She can't return to full activity, so she may have to revise [her stage show] accordingly. This is not going to go away rapidly," he further added.

         London: 'Titanic' beauty Kate Winslet is likely to play the leading lady in Woody Allen's next film. According to Ananova, the film known as the Woody Allen Summer Project is about Londoners in London. Woody usually makes one film every year and he is currently finishing the filming of 'Melinda and Melinda'. Woody has set up production for the shooting of his latest movie at Ealing Studios in West London. He has not made a movie outside New York since the 1996 musical 'Everyone Says I Love You' that was set in Paris.

Kabbalah is just a money-spinning cult for Hollywood (Go To Top)

          London: Kabbalah might be the new rage in Hollywood thanks to Madonna but Jewish leaders and cult experts consider this new brand of Kabbalah a dangerous cult designed to separate the vulnerable from their money. According to the National Enquirer, the opponents say that followers' common beliefs such as drinking Kabbalah water cures cancer or wearing the red string Kabbalah bracelet protects against the evil eye are just superstitions. "I'm concerned that the Kabbalah centres are exploiting people's legitimate concern for spirituality for their own financial gain. I advise not only my congregants, but all people to stay away from the Kabbalah centres. And if you see Madonna coming run the other way," said Rabbi Jacob Immanuel Schochet, an expert on traditional Kabbalah. "The red string is derived from an ancient pagan practice. And the so-called Kabbalah water has no more value than tap water. When the Kabbalah centres say you can glean the Kabbalah by merely running your hands over the text without reading, it is nonsense. And claims that Kabbalah can make you rich, cure illness and make your sex life better reduces Kabbalah to superstition," he added.

          Cult buster Rick Ross, head of the non-profit Rick A. Ross Institute of New Jersey said, "There is no independently audited financial statement of the Kabbalah centres to explain the compensation paid to Berg, his wife Karen and their two sons and Karen's daughter from a previous marriage." "Rabbi Berg -- who Kabbalists call 'the Rav' -- is looked upon by many of his followers, including Madonna, as the living conduit between the light (or a higher power) and the creator. At the top of the membership are people like Madonna, Roseanne, Elizabeth Taylor, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher and Britney Spears who are treated royally, he said. "But then there are the regular middle-class people who find it financially demanding to buy tickets for Kabbalah events costing hundreds of dollars. People tell me they are being asked to tithe over 10 percent," he added.

          Washington: Pop star Jessica Simpson said that she strongly feels that abstinence is the best birth control. "I know that condoms are not a hundred percent, because I'm here because of a busted condom," The MTV quoted Jessica as saying. "I mean, I'm not an accident.
