London:
Love does make the world go round, but the fact remains

taking that first step towards our dream mate. You could
be a die-hard romantic, but do you feel tongue tied when
it comes to striking up a conversation with a member of
opposite sex? Well then, its time you take tips on flirting.
"If you like someone, it's only natural to want to send
them some kind of signal to indicate 'here I am' or 'I like
what I see'," renowned flirt coach Peta Heskell, was quoted
by The Sun, as saying. Author of 'The Flirt Coach's Secrets
of Attraction: Develop Irresistible Pulling Power in All
Areas of Your Life' Peta is the director of 'The Attraction
Academy', a self help work shop that is designed to help
lovelorn singles learn how to flirt. Peta's courses offer
a variety of techniques to boost self-esteem and help people
to feel more confident about themselves. Once, the participant
master the basics, they put their newly acquired skills
to test by interacting with the opposite sex. Peta believes
that true flirting comes from feeling good about yourself
and this also makes other feel comfortable with you. "Flirting
is a vehicle which helps people build confidence and communicate
with others. It also helps you learn how to deal with rejection
and move on," she explains.
Here are some of the Do's and Don'ts for flirting: 1. Do
not moan, whing and bitch in public and private because
it makes even the most beautiful person look ugly. 2. Feel
happy inside, laugh a lot and your body language will become
much more appealing as a result. 3. It is also important
to be yourself and not what you think someone else wants.
By putting on a show for someone, they could end up falling
for a completely different person and you don't want to
spend the rest of your life being someone you're not. 4.
And like with any stressful situation, it's important to
relax and stay calm when flirting with someone you find
attractive. 5. Do not worry about the outcome as your body
language will reflect it. 6. If you like someone, then speak
out. 7. Do not avoid eye contact as through eyes you can
convey that you're interested.
