Kylie Minogue is men's No.1 sexual fantasy  (Go To Top)

          Sydney: Actresses Kylie Minogue, Delta Goodrem, Elle Macpherson, Holly Valance, and Nicole Kidman are at the top of a list of celebrities that people in Australian capital Canberra fantasize about when engaging in sex. According to a survey by the FHM magazine, most Canberrans fantasize about Kylie. Delta Goodrem, Elle Macpherson, Holly Valance and Nicole Kidman then come down the order. The survey of 52,500 people with an 80/20 split between men and women, found that the majority of respondents had sex two to three times weekly. It was revealed that nine per cent of people claim to have sex on a daily basis while 13 per cent claim of not indulging in sex at all. John Bastick, the editor of FHM, said that he was surprised by the response of female survey respondents. "They seem to have far more interesting sex lives than men do," the report quoted him as saying. The survey also found that both men and women prefer the 'woman on top' sexual position, with 'doggy style' second and 'missionary' third.

         New York: He might have been the screen equivalent of James Bond for the last nine years, but it seems Pierce Brosnan may now have to forgo the throne for someone else for apparently he is tad too old for the role. According to New York Daily News, Brosnan has been discussing the mater with Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. "They don't know what to do. They don't know how to move on. A sense of paralysis has set in," Brosnan was quoted as saying. Producers want a younger bond for the upcoming bond movie and so the 51-year-old Brosnan may be out. While Hugh Jackman, Heath Ledger, Colin Firth, Clive Owen, Jude Law, Ewan McGregor, Gerard Butler and even Cuba Gooding Jr may take up his place.

Cameron Diaz lashes out at editor over Timberlake (Go To Top)

         New York: Actress Cameron Diaz had a showdown on the phone with the 'US Weekly' editor-in-chief Janice Min over the alleged infidelity reports of her singer boyfriend Justin Timberlake published in the magazine. According to The New York Daily News, Min had declared Cameron's relationship with Justin Timberlake 'on the rocks' after he supposedly took a 'sexy admirer' to his hotel room. "Cameron and Justin fight all the time, and haven't been out together in L.A. for a while," Min's weekly magazine had even quoted a friend of the couple as saying. "Cameron called Janice at home and just lost it. She just screamed at her," revealed a source. Nevertheless, after the argument between Min and the 'Charlie's Angels' star, Min removed her magazine's cover story on Kirsten Dunst and Jake Gyllenhaal's split, and turned Diaz's spitfire tirade into an 'US Exclusive: Cameron Speaks' story.

          London: Pop diva Madonna leaned heavily on astrology to help her select members of her troupe for her Reinvention tour. According to The Mirror, the "Material Girl" was studying star signs rather than CVs before she hired people. "She wanted to know our birth signs. She wanted to know which of us were compatible with her sign. After all, we were going to spend many months with her touring the world," Reshma Gajjar, a member of the cast, was quoted as saying.

          London: In a gruesome incident that has just come to light, a cook cut off his girlfriend's breast and ate it after he had cut off her head with a knife. According to The Sun, Frank Koening claimed that he had killed his pregnant girlfriend, Peggy Litz, because he thought she had been unfaithful. The chef told the police that he had done what Peggy had asked him to. "She said I should eat the breast in front of her," Koening was quoted as saying.

Kate Moss purchases country cottage for 2 million pounds (Go To Top)

         London: Supermodel Kate Moss has purchased a 17th century country cottage called 'Church Farm' for 2 million pounds in the Cotswolds hamlet of Little Faringdon, London. Moss' cottage is set in 20 acres of farmland and is surrounded by walled gardens and has hi-profile neighbours like Liz Hurley and Kate Winslet. Meanwhile, locals are gossiping about their new neighbour and her 21-month old daughter, Lila Grace. "Everyone in the village has heard about Kate Moss. It was the talk of the annual church lunch," Hello magazine quoted a local, as saying.

          London: Keats might have said that a thing of beauty is a joy forever, but it seems beauty has turned out to be a burden for Halle Berry. According to The Sun, The Catwoman believes that being beautiful makes her miserable. "Being thought of as beautiful has spared me nothing. Laurence Olivier rises like a phoenix for 'Sky Captain' (Go To Top)

          Washington: He might have bid adieu to Hollywood 15 years ago, but Laurence Olivier will again grace the silver screen in the upcoming sci-fi movie Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, all thanks to computer wizardry. According to E-Online, this was revealed by the film's star, Jude Law at the annual Comic-Con International Sci-Fi convention in San Diego. The legendary British thespian who enthralled moviegoers with classics as Wuthering Heights, Rebecca, Uncle Vanya, Spartacus and Battle of Britain will play the villainous leader of a band of giant killer robots terrorizing a retro New York City. "He plays my nemesis. And he's referred to throughout the movie, so you know eventually you're going to get to see this bad guy. It builds up, and you only see him in the last minutes, and he's in hologram form," Jude law was quoted as saying. The footage is being taken from several of the Oscar winner's movies as well as archive material and Olivier's voice is being dubbed by another actor.

Allen to be honoured in Spain (Go To Top)

          Washington: Filmmaker Woody Allen will be honoured in Spain at this year's 52nd San Sebastian International Film Festival for his contribution to cinema. Woody's latest movie 'Melinda and Melinda' will also be premiered at the festival in northern Spain, which will run from September 17 to 25. "The people of Spain have always supported my films, and for me it is a great honor to attend the San Sebastian festival," Zap2it quoted Woody as saying. Besides the screening of the movie, a tribute and retrospective will highlight Woody's illustrious career as a writer, director and actor in the festival.
