London: 'Harry Potter' creator JK Rowling has revealed
that she is pregnant with her third child and is 'simply
delighted,' reports the Sun. The 38-year old wordsmith,
who masterminded the concept of the young wizards in the
"Harry Potter" series, already has two children, including
a daughter from a previous marriage. According to the report,
Rowling is very exited about giving birth next year, and
says that she has always wanted to have three children.
However, she also assured fans that her pregnancy was not
going to hinder the release of her highly anticipated sixth
book in the series "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince,"
which is already more than half way through. "Let me reassure
you that book six remains well on track and, fingers crossed
of course, I don't foresee any baby-related interruptions
or delays. I still can't say for sure when it will be finished,
but I have written a lot and I really like it," the report
quoted her as saying.

Pop diva Madonna was spotted at New York's posh Kosher
restaurant Solo, disguised under a wig and heavy makeup.
The singer was reportedly dining with her husband Guy Ritchie
and their Kabbalah friends. However, sources from 'Star
People' magazine saw right through her disguise of an auburn
wig, fake teeth, heavy makeup and a long black skirt. Even
when a woman recognised her and asked her for an autograph
the star simply refused to reveal her identity.

beach, with her family, in Miami. The 46-year old mum of
two who still has an enviable figure to flaunt looked ravishing

pale but she was having a great time," a source was quoted

York: The late filmmaker John Schlesinger had claimed
that he got so agitated with pop diva Madonna's demands
while he was directing her in the movie "The Next Best Thing,"
that he had heart failure and required quadruple bypass
surgery, after the film was completed. According to the
New York Post, Madonna had demanded that Schlesinger digitally
"beautify" 34 of her shots for the film "The Next Best Thing".
She also refused to appear in the nude even though she had
earlier stripped for her "Sex" book.

British actor Jude Law is all set to star as Jack Burden
in a movie version of Robert Penn Warren's 1946 Pulitzer
Prize-winning political novel by the same name, reports
the Sun. The book chronicles the rise and fall of politician
Willie Stark, who gives up his idealistic views for lust
and power, Jude's character, Burden is Stark's right hand
man who refuses to give up his ideals and is also the narrator
of the story. The book had earlier been brought to screen
in the 1949 movie "All The King's Men," which also won the
Oscar for the best movie, however the new movie will be
based on the book and not the 1949 film.

hadn't been an actress, she would have been a bricklayer,
because it would make her equal to men. The actress who
first shot to fame in the 2002 blockbuster "Bend it like
Beckham" thinks bricklaying is a good profession because
she doesn't want to be left behind if a time ever comes
when people have to fend for themselves, reports star magazine.
"If an apocalypse ever comes, I'd like to be a skilled laborer

York: Reality TV is all the rage this season and Hollywood
heartthrobs and best buddies Matt Damon and Ben Affleck
are all set to join the bandwagon, by launching a new show
"American Start Ups" The actors, who won an Oscar for co-authoring
the 1997 movie "Good Will Hunting," are going to produce
the show which will have eight new companies competing against
each other for a prize, reports the New York Daily News.
The show will give all the companies a start-up amount of
50,000 dollars after which they will be guided each week
by a panel of entrepreneurs and business gurus. Based on
the success of the each group, one company will be eliminated
in each episode. The show will reportedly be a 10-episode
series and it will be aired on the American channel Spike
TV. The two actors are not new to Reality shows, they had
earlier conceptualized the show "Project Greenlight," where
writers and directors were given a chance to have their
movies made. "We believe in the contribution and independent
spirit of the American entrepreneur," Affleck said in a
statement, while citing the reasons behind the show.

"The Rolling Stones" lead guitarist Ronnie Wood is back
in rehab for the third time in the past four years as the
troubled star continues to battle alcoholism. According
to the Sun, this time around, Wood enrolled himself for
a detoxification program after he went out of control in
a restaurant. The 57-year old artist reportedly got so drunk
that he crawled under the tables in the restaurant and tried
to bite off people's ankles. Wood, who has enrolled into
a rehab center in London, had earlier been diagnosed with
a lung disease because of excessive smoking. However, insiders
reveal that the legendary guitarist is much better than
he was before and hopes that he will remain clean this time.
"The problem for him is always when the Stones come off
tour - he finds it hard to occupy his time. He realized
it had got hold of him again when he was at a restaurant
with his wife Jo and Kate Moss. But his frame of mind is
very positive. Ronnie is getting a lot out of his treatment,"

Actor Denzel Washington says that he was never intimidated
by the idea of playing a role which had earlier been portrayed
by Frank Sinatra, because he made it a point to not watch
Sinatra's performance. According to Ananova, the "Philadelphia"
star coped with the pressure of stepping into Sinatra's
shoes, by not watching his portrayal of the lead role of
Captain Bennett Marco in the 1960 film "The Manchurian Candidate."
"I haven't seen (the original) and I made a point not to.
But from what I understand, there's been quite a few twists
from the original," Washington was quoted as saying. The
Oscar award-winning actor also said that he was not concerned
about the inevitable comparisons between the two films,
based on the story of a gulf war veteran believes that he
was brainwashed during the war. "I think what an opportunity
to share it again, to get the opportunity to interpret great
roles and to put our own spin on it," he said. The film
is slated to hit screens in the US on July 30.
