'Spiderman' is scared of heights (Go To Top)

          Washington: 'Spiderman' actor Tobey Maguire has revealed that he suffers from acrophobia, that is, he is scared of heights. According to Star magazine, Tobey has admitted that he is extremely scared of standing on the ledge of a building and looking down, but does not mind swinging from ropes.

Madonna denies she killed John Schlesinger (Go To Top)

          London: "Material Girl" Madonna has taken strong exception to reports that her tantrums resulted in veteran director John Schlesinger suffering from a heart attack while they were filming for the comedy 'The Next Best Thing'. "People say many, many things about Madonna, but no one has ever questioned her level of professional behaviour. I know Madonna had great respect for John Schlesinger as a director. I believe he had control over this film and Madonna behaved as a salaried actress," The Sun quoted the singer's spokeswoman as saying. However, according to the Telegraph, Schlesinger held Madonna's antics responsible for his heart trouble, as mentioned in a collection of his letters and production notes given to the British Film Institute after his death in July 2003.

          London: Sexy Hollywood actress Keira Knightley is ready to reveal her assets for 'King Arthur'. The 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' star will sport her enviable figure in a revealing leather costume as she plays the role of Guinevere in the movie. "Historically, the Picts and Celts fought naked, so I think I was pretty lucky," the actress was quoted by The Sun as saying. "If a part called for it and I liked the role I would have no hesitation in going nude for a film," she further added.

Britney's first hubby spills the beans on their 55-hour love life (Go To Top)

          New York: Jason Alexander's moment of glory might be over but Britney Spears first husband is in the limelight once again for he can't just wait to tell the world what was it like being with the 'Toxic' pop star. According to the New York Daily News, Jason, 22, claims that after the cancellation of their 55-hour Las Vegas marriage in January, Britney sent him packing and even changed her phone number so that he couldn't call her up. "I didn't tell the world about this before because I still hoped we'd get back together. But I now realize she won't come back to me," he was quoted as saying. Alexander also told Britain's News of the World that Spears asked him to marry her immediately after making love in a Las Vegas hotel. She said, 'I want to ask you something but I don't know how to.' I told her she could ask me anything. She acted really shy and said, 'Will you marry me? I said yes and she jumped out of bed, flung her jeans on and yelled, 'Let's do it now.' She was ecstatic. She didn't even put her panties on in the rush as she slipped on her jeans," he added. But after the two tied the knot, her family rushed to Vegas and barged into their suite and forced him to sign annulment papers. Britney's brother then handed him a plane ticket for home.

          London: Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova showed her hourglass figure as she sunbathed on the beach near her Florida home. According to The Sun, the teenage Russian player and Wimbledon champion was seen sporting a multi-coloured bikini as she went for a quick swim. Her mother Yelena, who kept a watchful eye on her stunning daughter at the posh Longboat Key Resort, accompanied Maria.
