          New York: Barely four days after movie legend Marlon Brando died his family has already started bickering over his will. The star has left behind three ex-wives and 15 legitimate and illegitimate kids. "The children are already fighting over his possessions and memorabilia. Guards have been posted at his house," a friend was quoted by The New York Daily News as saying. Although there were speculations that the actor lived in poverty during his last days but lawyers hold the view that it was a sham. Brando's house in Beverly Hills is estimated to be worth at least 20 million dollars, while he has left other assets in California.

          London: Victoria Beckham is so over worked that she has decided to take it easy this summer and relax. The ex-Spice girl, who recently visited Peru to film a documentary for the BBC and raise funds for Sports Relief, is now planning to take a break from work."Victoria has decided to take a break from work this summer. She will return to the studio and start work on some new material in the autumn," Nicki Chapman, who works for Posh's management company, told The Mirror.

          New York: Britney Spears, who was a teenage pop idol once, does not seem to care about how she looks anymore. The singer now reportedly sports a new unkempt look with tousled hair, crumpled clothes and a cigarette dangling from her lips. "She's been wearing the same pair of ripped jeans for weeks as she hobbles around LA on crutches, always with cigarette in hand, making pit stops for Cheetos and Red Bull," Sclott Lapatine, a pop scribe, was quoted by The New York Post as saying. The singer is not concerned about her figure too, which is not in good shape, as she has been gorging on food lately.

Bidding a temporary goodbye to her hectic musical tour schedule and her bizarre partying ways, the singer was reportedly at her stunning best after her doctor advised her to take time off and relax with boyfriend Kevin. According to some eyewitnesses, the couple was seen kissing and cuddling, as if they were on some kind of honeymoon. The rest of the time was spent in their 1,000 pound-a-night hotel suite on the paradise island of Maui. Only recently, Britney's fans were worried about the singer heading the same way as rocker Courtney Love. The 22-year old Baby One More Time star looked tired, spotty and bloated as her party lifestyle took hold.

          London: Pop star Britney Spears' dancer fiance Kevin Federline is reportedly a serial love cheat. Sports bar waitress Felicia Cabiero, who is Federline's childhood sweetheart, has revealed that he dumped her mercilessly after their three-year affair turned sour. "I just hope he doesn't break Britney's heart like he did mine," The Mirror quoted Felicia as saying. Felicia said that Federline dumped her after she confronted him about rumours that he was cheating on her at their school in Clovis, California. "He completely cut off contact with me and it caused me a lot of pain," she said. Felicia also revealed that she had heard that Kevin was bankrupt and had even been evicted from the flat he was sharing with his former live-in girlfriend, Shar Jackson. The news that her ex-flame is all set to tie the knot with Britney was a sweet and sour surprise for Felicia. "He was my first love. He was very charming and affectionate. He made me think my world was his and vice versa. We started dating when we were both just 12," she said. Meanwhile, Amy Woody, another woman with whom Federline has been linked, has also disclosed that Federline ditched her after dating her for some time. "He was a very smooth talker and a great lover. He made me feel like I was the only girl in the world," the report quoted Woody as saying.

          London: A woman's nail varnish, which leaked from her handbag in a KLM flight from Amsterdam to Bremen, forced the plane to make an emergency landing. According to The Sun, forty passengers reported breathing trouble after the plane's air conditioning spread the fumes through the cabin, necessitating immediate landing and evacuation, while emergency services stood by. Though the passengers didn't suffer any ill effects, the erring female passenger may be asked to pay a huge bill to the German airport where the plane landed.

          London: A London restaurant named 'Shish' is offering free DNA tests to customers to see if they are descendants of the famous Mongol ruler, Genghis Khan, and if so offering them free meals. According to Ananova, Shish has reportedly teamed up with the DNA-based research firm, Oxford Ancestors, to offer Khan's descendants food from their nomadic ancestral homelands. The unique promotion is meant to mark the Mongolian Government's decision to allow citizens to have surnames for the first time since the Communists banned them in the 1920s. Therefore, almost 50,000 Mongolians now proudly claim to be direct descendants of Genghis Khan, with some proud to bear his name.

          Wellington: New Zealand is fast emerging as the globetrotters favourite destination and it is the country's scenic view as depicted in The Lord of the Rings trilogy that gets it its visitors. According to the New Zealand Herald, the International Visitor Survey - the official Government measure of tourists' travel patterns and spending, has revealed that over seven per cent of tourists who flock to New Zealand were brought here by the movie. That equals more than 76,400 people over nine months of last year. The tourists were questioned on the Rings movies and were also asked if they had heard of the Rings films and if they knew they were filmed in New Zealand. Almost 90 per cent of all tourists questioned knew the films were made in New Zealand. Only 2300 tourists during the nine-month period said that the films were the only reason they came to New Zealand. Another 5100 said it was their main reason for coming. 69,000 people said that the movies were one of the reasons they travelled to the country while the outstanding scenery in the movies was one of the main reasons for coming. More than 30,000 tourists said they had taken in a "Rings experience" while they were in New Zealand but most had visited a filming site independently, rather than take part in an organised tour. According to Tourism NZ chief George Hickton, "However, this information suggests that The Lord of the Rings has made a significant contribution to raising New Zealand's profile in several of our key markets."

          London: Hollywood hunk Johnny Depp has turned into a real life Pirate of the Caribbean after buying a mile-long island in the Bahamas for 1.9 million pounds. According to The Sun, the island called 'Little Halls Pond Cay' has six secluded white sandy beaches and a central lagoon surrounded by exotic palm trees. The tropical island, which is 60 miles south of Nassau, also has a private harbour and staff quarters.
