          London: Gaynor Morgan, daughter of Ex Manchester United star Willie, has claimed that she shared intimate moments with David Beckham in a Christmas party in a bar, in 2001. According to The Sun, the stunning blonde admitted in her new book 'The Real David Beckham. An Intimate Biography', "Very gently, he started stroking me. I gasped. We were being carried away on the tide of mutual passion." However David's spokesman has denied the allegations as "outrageous and untrue". The soccer star also plans to take legal action against Gaynor.

Moore invites Blair for private screening of Fahrenheit 9/11 (Go To Top)

         London: Controversial director Michael Moore has published a full page advertisement in the British parliament's magazine inviting Prime Minister Tony Blair to a private screening of his new film Fahrenheit 9/11. According to Hello! magazine, Moore's move is likely to feed the controversy which has continued unabated since the film was released. The documentary is critical of George W Bush and Tony Blair's handling of the Iraq war. The film, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes is the first documentary to top the US box-office. The film received mixed reviews in political circles with some leaders questioning the authenticity of the facts while others were praising it for telling the truth about the Iraq war.

         New York: Directors Trey Parker and Matt Stone will release a satirical film called "Team America: World Police" two weeks before the presidential election in November. According to the New York Daily News, the film follows a bunch of superheroes fighting to end terrorism. "South Park" creators Parker and Stone were also at the helm of the satire titled "That's My Bush!"

          Washington: A new study has suggested that a combination of melatonin and sunlight could help travelers beat jet-lag while traveling between time-zones. According to Dr. John Herman, associate professor of psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and director of the Sleep Disorder Clinic at Children's Medical Center Dallas, who conducted the research, this helps the body restore it's natural rhythm. "The combination of melatonin and bright light is the most powerful method of resetting your biological rhythm," he said. Here are the three things you can do to avoid jet lag: 1) Take 6 milligrams of melatonin when it is 11:30 p.m. in the time zone of your destination. 2) Get outside in the sunlight as soon as possible when you arrive at your destination. 3) One hour before bedtime on the night of your arrival, take another 3 milligrams of melatonin.

          London: Rebecca Loos might soon be seen as a seducer in ITV1's sex and soccer dramas Footballers' Wives. David Beckham's former personal assistant has reportedly been offered a role of a coquette who seduces a player and his wife in the series. According to a report in The Sun, Loos who was in news for her alleged fling with star footballer David Beckham, has been talking with bosses of ITV1's sex and soccer drama. "She'd be fantastic for Footballers' Wives. She has the glamour, a keen interest in footballers and a cheeky glint in her eye. Producers were talking about a storyline where she has a fling with a married footballer. But they want to take things a bit further and have her start flirting with his wife too.They've approached Rebecca and talks are going on, but nothing's been formally agreed yet," an insider was quoted by the report as saying.

          New York: Pop diva Madonna is looking for models to portray Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell in a film based on supermodels. According to the New York Post, the "Music" singer is making a film version of Michael Gross' 1995 book, "Model." The film will be released next year according to a report in British Vogue.

Mel Gibson's directorial tryst with small screen (Go To Top)

          Washington: Mel Gibson is all set for a tryst with the small screen. According to Star magazine, the actor is reportedly developing a new TV series titled Savages. The serial revolves around a single dad raising five sons, aged between 11 and 17. David Carradine plays the lead role in the serial.Gibson has directed the pilot which will be telecast on ABC. Mel who , himself is a father of five sons reportedly admits atht the series is somewhat autobiographical.
