Beckham
is furious with Posh Spice (Go

Washington:
Soccer superstar David Beckham is allegedly upset with
his wife Victoria because she has chosen veteran singer
Sir Elton John and actress Elizabeth Hurley as their son
Brooklyn's godparents, instead of members of his family.
The former Spice Girl has also picked her brother Christain
and sister Louise as their other child Romeo's godparents.
The Real Madrid midfielder is, therefore, furious as his
blood relations have no official role in their sons' lives.
"You have to ask yourself why Elton and Elizabeth have been
asked to be godparents when David's own flesh and blood
have been excluded. The Beckhams had the same treatment
as total strangers, with a formal invitation coming through
the post without even a personal note on it," Star magazine
quoted an insider as saying. David's father Ted, however,
said, "There isn't any rift. I'll be going to the christening.
I don't mind if I'm not a godparent. It doesn't bother me
if they want Elton John or Elizabeth Hurley."

London:
England soccer skipper David Beckham has recorded an
inspirational message for British soldiers stationed in
Iraq, which will be broadcast on the New Year's Eve. "It
is something that David really wanted to do. He hasn't had
the best of years, but he knows what he's been through is
nothing compared to what the men and women in the forces
have had to contend with," Femalefirst quoted a source as
saying. David will discuss a variety of subjects, including
his marriage with Victoria, besides his role as a father
to his two sons - Brooklyn and Romeo. "The message will
be broadcast to the armed forces around the world. Every
year, we try and get a celebrity to say a few words of encouragement
to the troops and David was fantastic," a spokesman for
the British Forces Broadcasting Services Radio said. "Like
the rest of the country, David really appreciates what they
are doing across the world for us. And when he was approached
about doing this, he leapt at the chance. His thoughts will
be with them and their families, especially at this time
of year," revealed an insider.

London: Nicole Kidman's film producer boyfriend Steve
Bing has reportedly written a romantic love song for her

jolly, stuff turkey and wave mistletoe. Even better with
friends than flying it solo. Me? I'll do it with this seasonal
chick. She's a cool cat. Untie the bow and welcome the other
Saint Nic," wrote Bing, who is the father of actress Liz
Hurley's two-year-old son Damien. According to Femalefirst,
Nicole has hired a 20,000 pounds-a-week villa at Sydney's
