London:
Pop singer Britney Spears' discarded chewing gum, which
is said to contain her DNA, has been put up for sale on
the Internet auction site eBay. According to The Daily Mirror,
the bids for the used piece of gum reached 280 pounds, but
ebay has been forced to withdraw it from the auction block
after it was realised that the sale was contravening its
human body parts and remains policy. "The main selling point
was the DNA which is not allowed," the paper quoted ebay
as saying. The seller then changed the advert to remove
reference to Britney's DNA. "I am now allowed to list this
item with a few alterations to my wording... this is the
original gum that Britney spat out. It has not been touched
since it was in Britney's mouth. It is completely preserved.
This is a chance to own a piece of pop history, right from
the mouth of the pop princess herself," the advert quotes
the seller as saying.

London:
Actor Vin Diesel's pet dog, Roman, instigated an 8 million
pounds lawsuit by biting Hollywood screenwriter Michael
Kerner in the crotch, when the latter tried to pat his head.
"I suffered deep lacerations, nerve damage, loss of physical
sensation, psychological harm and mental distress after
the dog's attack," said Kerner, who had to have three stitches
in his penis and two in his scrotum. "This is the kind of
dog you have to be introduced to, and he approached the
dog and tried to submit it, he tried to push his head down.
The dog just snapped. It was probably painful," Femailfirst
quoted "The Chronicles of Riddick" star as saying. But,
Vin needn't worry, as he won't have to pay a cent for this.
"He was suing the insurance company, it isn't punitive,"
Sunday Times Culture magazine quoted Vin as saying.
