Isaac Asimov has been voted the best science fiction
author in a poll conducted by Guardian. Isaac was chosen
as the best author for his novel 'I, Robot' and the 'Foundation'
triology by the poll panel which included top scientists
like biologist Richard Dawkins and Harvard psychologist

Christina Aguilera postpone her wedding plans, because she
does not want to 'jump the gun,' and also look like she
is copying Britney. Aguilera, who has been seeing fianci
Jordan Bratman since quite some time now, thinks that Britney
is being a little reckless in her decision to get married
so soon. "Jordan's the one guy I can credit for making me

According to a poll conducted by the teen magazine Bliss,
Hollywood actress Elizabeth Hurley has been voted as the
best looking star after surgery, by teenaged girls who do
not mind going under the knife for the perfect hourglass
figure. According to The Sun, Peter Andre's beautiful girlfriend
Jordan, who got a boob job done recently was voted as the
star most in need of plastic surgery, to go back to normal
while 'Bootylicious' singer Beyonce was voted as the lady
with the best natural body.

year's Booker list has no place for regulars (Go

This year's list for the one of the world's most prestigious
awards, The Man Booker Prize is out, and it features a number
of first timers, completely ignoring veterans like Louis
de Bernieres, Jeanette Winterson and VS Naipaul, who have
been regulars on previous Booker lists. According BBC, the
Booker panel has chosen 22 books from amongst 132 entries
for the award, which will be announced on October 19. The
judges say that this years list is mix of 'serious and fun
books.' "The Line of Beauty" by Alan Hollinghurst, "Cloud
Atlas" by David Mitchell, Nicola Barker's "Clear: A Transparent
Novel" and Susanna Clarke's "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell"
are being touted as some of the favourites to win the 50,000
pound award which is given to authors from commonwealth
countries and Ireland, every year. "This has been a very
rich year for fiction and we have a strong and varied long-list
of 22 books. I'm particularly pleased that there are a number
of first or second novels on the list as well as a number
of well-established writer," the report quoted the chair
of the judges, MP Chris Smith as saying.

All thanks to a sewer rat, Lord of the Rings stars Sir
Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis will soon be seen together
again. The duo will reportedly lend their voices to an upcoming
animated flick 'Flushed Away' which revolves around a pampered
rat who lands up in the London sewers after accidentally
getting flushed from his plush penthouse flat. According
to The Daily Mail, McKellen will dub for a villainous frog
while Serkis will lend his voice to the hench-rat Spike
in the movie.

Actress Sienna Miller has revealed that her bust is
disappearing because of too much of stress brought on by
result of her demanding film career. "I've lost weight and
my boobs have gone. They're just clinging on for dear life.

Catherine Zeta Jones recently got bullet- proof high-security
windows installed in her 2 million pounds Swansea mansion
to prevent stray shots flying into her lounge from the golf
club next door. "If you slice your shot your ball will fly
towards their house so the windows are there as a safety
measure," The Sun quoted a golf-club member as saying. It
was previously thought that the Welsh beauty had installed
high-security glasses in a bid to prevent a potential attack
on her young children and her actor husband Michael Douglas.

'Batman Begins' actor Christin Bale seems to have learnt
a thing or two from the screen superhero already, after
he recently saved his crew members from getting hit by an
unmanned car. According to Female First, the British actor
and the rest of the 'Batman' team were shooting in Chicago,
when he spotted a driverless car hurtling down a hill towards
the sets of the movie. The "American Psycho' actor chased
the moving vehicle and climbed in through an open window,
after which he stopped the car just in the nick of time
before it hit anybody.

will never date anyone famous, because he has learnt a lesson
from his best friend Ban Affleck's disastrous relationship
with singer Jennifer Lopez. 'The Talented Mr Ripley' actor,
who is currently dating a little known interior designer
Luciana Barroso, has vowed that he will henceforth only
date 'civilians.' "These days I definitely only date, as
we say, 'civilians'," Female First quoted him as saying.
"Ben's priorities were strayed. He put his personal life
in front of his professional life. You shouldn't do that
if you are going to date a famous person," he added.
