Pop star Britney Spears is reportedly angling for a
profit of 1 million pounds from the sale of her plush New
York apartment and move into the Malibu mansion purchased
by her last month because she is fed up of living in the
city. The 'Everytime' star had originally purchased the
luxury flat in 2001 for a whopping 2.3 million pounds and
had spent almost 275,000 in furnishing it. Sources claim
that Britney wants at-least 3.3 m pounds for her flat and
is not really prepared to accept a lower rate. A New York
property source also revealed that the new owner will have
to renovate the flat because the interiors of the house
have started looking old-fashioned. "The dicor is dated
and chintzy," femalefirst quoted the New York property source
as saying.

Pop Diva Britney Spears has been named as the celebrity
with the best body, by 80,000 music buffs who voted in an
internet poll. According to the Daily Star, 30 percent of
the voters said that Britney's new bad-girl image was helping
her get more fans specially men, most of whom said that
she is the celebrity that they would like to sleep with
the most. Britney was closely followed by the 'Friends'
star Jennifer Anniston and 'Baywatch' babe Carmen Electra,
who had the second and the third best bodies in showbiz
respectively.

Potter or chances are that you will have the woman running
in the opposite direction. According to the Sun, a new poll
by publishing giants, Penguin has revealed that women like
men who read crime, thrillers and even classics would be
a good option, but Harry Potter is an absolute no no, as
reading fantasy gives men zero sex appeal. Most women said
that they would be attracted to men who read Nick Hornby's
bestseller "How to Be Good," they also said that if men
were seen reading romantic classics like "Wuthering Heights,"
it showed that they had a softer side which also worked
in their favour.

The newly opened London Walk of Fame, in Piccadilly
street, has honoured 'Led Zepplin' frontman, Jimmy Paige
as the first musician to get a plaque on the sidewalk, modelled
after the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame. According to
Ananova, the 'Stairway to Heaven' singer said that he felt
very honoured while putting down his handprints on the sidewalk.
"It's a real privilege and a great honour to be the first
person to be immortalised in this way. The Walk Of Fame
is a fantastic idea and it's about time that we had one
in London," the report quoted Page as saying. "There are
so many musicians who deserve this honour that if we started
to count them all we could cover the whole city of London,"
Page added.

abandoned her ex-husband, Eric Bennet's child India, whose

always look after her, insiders claim that she has not even
seen the 12-year old girl once since she divorced Bennet.

be an obstacle for her as far as doing dare-bare scenes
is concerned. The 37-year old 'Catwoman', who has appeared
nude in some films including 'Monster's Ball' said, "If
you take care of yourself there's no reason to be frightened
of age." "I'm still going to do the same things and that
includes nude scenes, should the script require it," she
added. Halle also said that she is looking forward to join
the ranks of senior Hollywood stars. "I am looking forward
to getting older because that will bring its own new experiences,"

A leak from singer Robbie Williams's soon to be released
autobiography, 'The World According to Robert P Williams"
reveals his explosive relationship with fellow British rockers,
the Gallagher brothers from 'Oasis.' According to the Sun,
the 'Feel' singer's book will chronicle his drug filled
days with Liam Gallagher, when they both used to do cocaine
together. "For a while, it felt great. Liam and I used to
snort s**t loads of charlie and sing Sgt Pepper to each
other. But Liam was really paranoid about everything. It's
dreadfully sad for him," the report quoted an excerpt from
his book. He also confesses that he was deeply hurt when
the brothers turned their backs on him and Noel Gallagher
called him 'that fat singer from Take That.' Robbie then
took his revenge by taunting Noel when he played for three
days at the Knebworth residency, while Oasis got to play
for only two. "I sent a letter to Noel which read: 'Dear

laid back music and singing in jazz clubs should be more

claim that she is very happy with the results. "Kylie will
release a greatest-hits album first but then a jazzy album.
She wants a more grown-up sound to reflect how she has matured.

Rock legend Elvis Presley's concert announcer, Al Dvorin,
the man who is credited with the famous catch phrase, 'Elvis
has left the building' died in a car crash in California.
Dvorin coined the popular phrase to disperse enthusiastic
Elvis fans, who could not have enough of The King after
a show and craved for more. "Al made it his own with his
particular style. He's the man when it comes to that saying,"
a spokesman for the Elvis estate in Graceland was quoted
by The Sun as saying. "He was a fixture in the Elvis world.
He'll be greatly missed," he added.

York: Marlon Brando's children are set to meet each
other for the first time! The siblings from five mothers
have been called in to divide the late star's fortune, reports
the New York Daily News. Some of the 10 living children,
mentioned in Brando's will "are trying to get along but
some are already banding together against Christian Brando.
They feel he's gotten enough already," a source was quoted
as saying. Brando had set up a separate trust for Christian
Brando, long ago and had reportedly spent a fortune to save
him from the murder case of his sister Cheyenne's boyfriend,
in 1990. As of now, Mike Medavoy, Avra Douglas and Larry
Dressler are supervising the estate and will officially
take power as executors on Wednesday. Brando lawyer David
Seeley has said that so far there are no challenges to the
21.6 million dollar estate. Brando's possessions will eventually
be auctioned. Also up for auction is his hilltop mansion
in L.A., which neighbour Jack Nicholson is reportedly interested
in buying.
