Madonna goes into
'trance' before dance
London:
Kabbalah seems to have become an integral part of Madonna's
life with her meditation sessions now extending to her sets.
She has asked for a special "peace room" to be built backstage
at the Manchester Evening News Arena for her UK show. According
to The Sun, she wants a soundproof zone where she can meditate
into a trance for an hour before her performance. The walls
in the room are to be green with soft cushions on the floor.
"She doesn't want to hear a pin drop outside and it needs
to be green - the colour most conducive to meditation. She
calls it her peace room," an insider was quoted as saying.

London:
A London gallery has put up a somewhat offbeat exhibition
that has 28 artistic works depicting the human bottom. According
to the Telegraph, the exhibition includes pictures, sculptures
and paintings. Organisers of event are hoping that visitors
will view it in the right spirit and not see it as obscene.
The gallery's owners have described the exhibition as a
light- hearted attempt at exhibiting some gorgeous and highly
original work as the artists were given complete freedom.
The organisers gave an advertisement on the Internet and
zeroed down on 16 artists, from all the entries that came
in. The art is on sale at the Skylark Studios in Tydd Gote,
Cambridge, and price ranges from 25 pounds to 225 pounds.
"Even though it's about bottoms, it is suitable for all
ages. There's nothing too controversial. It's just a lovely
light- hearted exhibition where artists have been given
the opportunity to use their imagination," the report quoted
the gallery owner, Louise Stebbing as saying.
