Most
Brits believe Becks did cheat Posh (Go

London:
David Beckham's sex allegation has been the talk of
Britain for weeks. The question that everyone seems to ask
each other is, "Did Beckham cheat on his wife Victoria?"
Well, a survey has revealed that most Brits do believe that
the England skipper strayed. The survey was conducted by
the Sun in collaboration with official UK pollsters YouGov.
Three times as many people reckon Becks did play away than
the number who are convinced he remained faithful. But even
so, most Brits are convinced his marriage will survive the
crisis. It is the biggest survey conducted since it was
first claimed about three weeks ago that the Real Madrid
ace romped with his former PA Rebecca Loos - a claim the
Beckhams have dismissed.

London:
A cat named Billy that spent 19 days in a plane's hold
is due to be reunited with his owners, Guenther and Ingrid
Koelbl. According to Ananova, Billy was put on a United
States Airways plane from Phoenix, Arizona to Philadelphia
on March 29 and was due for a connecting flight to Germany.
However, Billy is said to have escaped from his cage and
didn't make it onto the same flight as his owners. Two-year
old Billy remained in the cargo hold for 19 days, managing
to find enough food and water to stay alive. He was discovered
last week on the plane at Manchester Airport in New Hampshire.
Billy was treated at an animal hospital for dehydration
and is on the way to recovery. Meanwhile, Koelbl has said
that he hasn't decided whether to take action against the
airline.

London:
A man, Ernie Roscouet, who returned a book to a Maltese
library 42 years late, has been given a cup of tea as a
reward. According to Ananova, Roscouet, a former RAF serviceman
inadvertently packed the book on American folk music when
he left the Mediterranean Island in 1962. "I felt guilty
when I realised what happened. It's actually been on my
conscience ever since," the report quoted Roscouet as saying
to The Times of Malta. The New Jersey resident said that
he had expected a fine but received trademark Maltese hospitality
from Floriana town library instead in the form of a trip
to Malta for his 65th birthday. The librarian who greeted
Roscouet said that the case appeared to be a genuine oversight
and said that he hoped it would encourage others to return
their overdue books.
The secret behind Keira's fuller lips (Go

Washington:
Meg Ryan has them and so does Liz Hurley. And the latest
entrant to the bandwagon is Keira Knightley. According to
Teen Hollywood, The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' beauty has
sparked cosmetic surgery rumours after being photographed
with apparently fuller lips. The actress, 19, was spotted
at the London address of Dr Jean Louis Sebagh, a top celebrity
surgeon, where she reportedly spent an hour and a half and
was later seen with a seemingly larger top lip. However,
Keira's agent has vehemently denied the rumours, claiming
the actress was visiting a dermatologist at the same address.
"She is 19 and has never been to a plastic surgeon. Just
look at her - she hardly needs plastic surgery," the agent
was quoted as saying.
Vampire
Slayer, no longer in Angel (Go
To Top)
Sydney:
The last few episodes of Angel will not be cluttered
with stars from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, according to director
Joss Whedon. Although Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) will
not feature in the episodes of Angel, but according to a
report in the Sydney Morning Herald, the story will be centred
around her. One of the final episodes will revolve around
Angel and Spike trying to rescue her from an old foe. They're
on a mission to rescue the slayer from The Immortal, a monster
from their past. Darla (Julie Benz) and Drusilla (Juliet
Landau) appear in flashback scenes. The reason why Whedon
does not want any of the Buffy stars on the show is to prevent
the stars of Angel from being overshadowed. US network The
WB is somewhat more ambiguous about the final two episodes,
saying only that Angel and Co will battle Wolfram & Hart's
mysterious Senior Partners and someone will die. The network
also says that Connor (Vincent Kartheiser) will appear in
the series finale to be shown in the US on May 19, but the
character's role is left undefined.
Waitress
serves detergent instead of schnapps to guests (Go

London:
An Austrian waitress has been fined 500 dollars for
mistakenly serving guests industrial strength cleaning detergent
instead of schnapps- an alcoholic drink. According to Ananova,
the court in Klagenfurt, southern Austria heard how five
diners ended up in hospital after drinking what they thought
was schnapps. The overworked waitress mistook the house
detergent for the house schnapps when she served the guests.
The sick guests were taken to a local hospital after another
guest, who had refused to drink the schnapps because it
smelt strange, called an ambulance. The waitress told the
court that she had been too stressed and had grabbed the
wrong bottle from the cellar. She was found guilty of causing
bodily harm to the guests.
Peter
Andre and Jordan are the new Ken and Barbie (Go

London:
Pop star Peter Andre and his lover Jordan are to replace
the estranged Barbie and Ken in the doll world. According
to The Mirror, the stars of 'I'm a Celebrity' are being
lined up as the hot new couple of the toy industry. High
street giant Woolworths has been bombarded with calls from
parents wanting a new action figure couple since Barbie
dumped Ken after 43 years together. Interestingly, the shop
had considered making Posh and Becks dolls before settling
on Peter and Jordan. "Since Ken left the doll scene, people
around the country are wanting a replacement. We think Pete
and Jordan will be the Barbie and Ken of the 21st Century,"
the report quoted commercial director Jo Hall as saying.
But experts are now debating whether to sell the dolls as
a pair or individually in case they break-up by the time
they are ready to hit the shelves. Peter, 31, was sold in
doll form at the height of his fame in 1997, adds the report.
