Sydney:
It seems soccer superstar David Beckham fulfilled his
fantasies through his alleged affairs. An Aussie model, who
claims to have had a fling with Beckham, said that he enjoyed
playing out fantasies based on the hit movie 'Pretty Woman',
according to agencies. Sarah Marbeck, 29, said she slept with
Beckham after the pair met in Singapore in 2001. Former employers
say she later worked for escort agencies in Sydney. Britain's
News of the World newspaper has reported that Beckham liked
to act out Richard Gere's part in 'Pretty Woman', the film
about a handsome millionaire who picks up a prostitute for
sex and company because he has no home life and never finds
a woman who understands him. The report stated that days after
meeting Ms Marbeck, Beckham sent her a text message: "That
night was amazing and before you say goodbye to me I want
some more nights like that. But unlike the film I'll pay a
little more than Mr Gere did". Marbeck said, "I was fulfilling
his fantasies, bringing them to life and he liked the idea
of having me on call." And if that is not enough, Beckham's
former personal assistant Rebecca Loos, who also claims to
have had an affair with the England captain, said Beckham
liked the way she looked like 'Pretty Woman' star Julia Roberts.
"He told me he fantasised about Julia and adored her in Pretty
Woman. He said `It's the sexiest film I've ever seen'. He
really had a thing about it," she told the News of the World.

London:
The world was swept with rumours yesterday that pop icon
Michael Jackson was dead. A website ran the headline, "Breaking
news: Musician Michael Jackson found dead". It declared that
the singer, who is facing charges of molesting kids, had committed
suicide by taking an overdose. However, the shocking news
was revealed to be a hoax when the 'Thriller' star's spokesman
said that the star was hale and hearty and upset about the
nasty rumour. "It's a lie. Michael is safe and well. This
is just a rumour that came out of London. We are not happy
about it at all," The Sun quoted Michael's spokesman as saying.
'Passion
of Christ' to release without cut (Go

Mumbai:
Leading film distributing company Kintop Pictures has
got mandate to release the controversial film "Passion of
Christ" in the country next month. The film, directed by Hollywood
actor Mel Gibson, has secured clearance from the censor board
without any cuts under the "adults only" category. "Passion
of Christ", which depicts the last 12 hours of Jesus Christ's
life, will open in India on May 7.
Deepak
Nayar, president of Kintop Pictures, said the film would first
be released in metros to make it familiar with English- speaking
audience. "What we are hoping is that we are going to start
with the metros because it is a sub-title movie and the metros
have pre-dominantly the educated class. What we have been
doing dominantly is the grassroot campaign going to chruches
and Christian organisations. We believe this movie is for
everyone to see," Nayar told reporters in film capital Mumbai.
Nayar said the film, in Aramaic and Latin, would be shown
to Christian organisations to popularise it in India. "What
we are doing is we are initiating a strong grassroot support
from its core audience that's is the Christian organisations
who in turn will spread to their family and friends that this
is a movie worth watching. Clearly that was evident from the
censor board we did not give this film a single cut and they
felt it needed to be watched in its entirety by all the masses,"
he said.
Kintop
Pictures have successfully produced and marketed cross- over
films like "Bend It Like Beckham" and "Bride and Prejudice".
"Passion of Christ" has grossed over $350 million to date
in the U.S. to become one of the blockbusters of the year.
The film, starring James Caviezel as Jesus, Maia Morgenstern
as Mary and Monica Bellucci as Magdalene is the highest "R"
rated film ever topping "Matrix Reloaded" to occupy the number
one in the U.S. where it is projected to gross in excess of
$400 million at the end of its run making it amongst the top
ten highest grossing films ever.
