19-yr old teaches hypnosis

Neeraj Ahuja taking a hypnosis
class in Bhopal

      Bhopal: Neeraj Ahuja, a 19 years old hypnotherapist, holds hypnosis camp in Bhopal, where he teaches the positive aspects of hypnosis and his students range from jail inmates to doctors. Ahuja has already held some free camps as a run-up to two-day classes he plans to conduct during April. Within a span of two years, Ahuja claims to have cured around one thousand people through hypnosis. The people attending his training camps included 650 jail inmates and doctors from Jawahar Lal Nehru Cancer hospital in Bhopal. "The main thing is self-hypnosis. Self-hypnosis is the basis of hypnosis. How can one hypnotize a person, how can it be effectively used in the marketing field, relaxation techniques and for concentration. All the problems related to the mind can be cured through hypnosis," said Neeraj Ahuja, hypnotherapist.

     A hypnotherapist helps to use one's own powerful mind to increase motivation or change behaviour patterns by inducing a trance state. When hypnotized, the mind operates in its subconscious mode. "In hypnosis therapy, with the help of our dialogues,which we call as dialogues, we feed the programmes into the subconscious mind of the other person. And science proves that whatever enters the subconscious mind is followed by the body.That is why hypnosis is so effective," said Ahuja.

     Ahuja claims to have learnt the hypnotic techniques from a guru in the city two years ago and then followed it up with advanced learning with another guru in Moscow. People attending his camps feel that hypnosis is a very helpful technique in controlling one's mind and overcoming their fears. "The biggest problem that the humans face is of phobia.We always lack confidence in doing a particular work. It helps to overcome these kind of phobia," said Nashir Mirza, a participant in the hypnosis camp. A hypnotherapist induces hypnotic state in a client to increase motivation or alter behaviour pattern through hypnosis and thus is capable of curing all kinds of mental illness, including drug addiction.
