Puppy fashion parade in Ranchi

         Ranchi: Dozens of well-groomed and trained dogs of different breeds walked the ramp at a unique kennel event here on Sunday. Dogs of various breeds including the majestic Saint Bernard and Great Dane participated in this unique 'Dog Show' that was organised for the first time here. "We have organised this show to encourage dog lovers. Thirty-five rare varieties of dogs are participating in this show. This was an eye opener show as dogs of some rare varieties participated. The best part of the show was 'dog walk' on the ramp," said Prafuldeep, organiser of the kennel show. The dogs were judged under various age classifications like puppy, grown, young and open class. Visitors at the show said they were spellbound by the breeds of dogs that participated. "I am extremely happy after witnessing huge varieties of dogs. I like St. Bernard dog and Great Dane," said Ramadeep, a resident. The show included display by the participant dogs in obedience and many other skills.
